Prayer for the Restoration of Israel and Nations

'For Zion’s sake I will not keep silent, for Jerusalem’s sake I will not remain quiet, till her vindication shines out like the dawn, her salvation like a blazing torch. The nations will see your vindication, and all kings your glory; you will be called by a new name that the mouth of the Lord will bestow. You will be a crown of splendor in the Lord ’s hand, a royal diadem in the hand of your God. '

Father God, we (I) pray for Israel.

Father God!

On July 1, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced that he would visit the United States next week to meet with U.S. President Donald Trump and other high-ranking officials to discuss security issues and trade agreements. Please give the two leaders the inspiration of the Holy Spirit and the wisdom of God’s Word. Please grant them the grace to understand and discuss the Father’s will to restore Israel and establish Jerusalem to prepare the way for the Lord’s return in this era.

Father God!

# Last week, the ceasefire in the war with Iran opened Ben Gurion Airport, and Jews from France and Britain began to migrate to the Promised Land. 

# The Humanitarian Assistance Fund (GHF) announced that the Hamas terrorist group had pre-positioned armed personnel near the humanitarian area to disrupt the only functioning relief supply system in the Gaza Strip. They targeted staff, workers, and aid workers, killing 12 local staff and torturing others. In response, the relief fund has deployed US security personnel, consisting of the nation’s elite and decorated veterans, to protect the people.

Father God, we have stopped the danger of Iran developing nuclear weapons, but there are stories that Iran has already moved enriched uranium. Please let Iran realize that you have prevented Iran from developing nuclear weapons and warned them. Eight Israeli soldiers have lost their lives in the past week as they continue to fight Hamas terrorist groups in Gaza, even after the ceasefire with Iran. We thank you for the recovery of the bodies of three hostages as we negotiate a truce in Gaza. Gaza, please rule over the evil of Hamas militants occupying and attacking relief vehicles that are carrying supplies to the residents and intercepting them. “Israel will be saved by the Lord with an everlasting salvation; you will never be put to shame or disgraced.” (Isaiah 45:17) According to this verse, let the soldiers on the battlefield and all the people of Israel believe that the war belongs to the Lord and rely on the strong and mighty Lord, the Lord God, who is mighty in battle. Please give wisdom to the leaders of the Israeli military.

Father God, please comfort the families who have lost their loved ones and the injured Israelis in this war with Iran, and protect and provide for the needs of the many families who have lost their homes due to Iranian airstrikes. Please destroy Iran’s nuclear development through this war with Israel and bring down the Khamenei regime in Iran. All the world's nations will know that the Lord God is protecting Israel and that the written words of God concerning Israel are being fulfilled. Let us understand and know. “You, O LORD, will endure forever; your remembrance will endure to all generations. You will arise and have mercy on Zion; now is the time to show favor to her, for the appointed time has come.” (Psalm 102:12, 13) We praise God, the King who has shown mercy to Zion according to the appointed time and is establishing Jerusalem, the city of the great King. We pray and bless Israel. As the firstborn nation that received God’s love through our ancestors, we believe and give thanks that you are fulfilling your covenant with Israel when you turn away Israel’s ungodliness and take away her sins, as you said, until the full number of salvation for the Gentiles of the nations has come. Please let the leaders of the countries and the people of the world realize that the war between Israel and Iran that took place this time was not just a war for Israel, but a war for the protection of Israel, and let them awaken from anti-Semitism. Please let the leaders of the nations and the people of the world realize that Israel’s defense systems will continue to operate completely accurately so that we can intercept and block ballistic missiles and unmanned drone attacks from outside at any time. Please make all soldiers going to war strong warriors of the Lord and protect them so they can carry out their missions well with strength and courage. Please comfort all the people of Israel, especially the children, who are in the midst of the emergency of war, and give them peace and courage from above. Please completely save and protect Israel. We pray that the war in Gaza will end quickly with Israel’s victory, that the hostages will return, that the promised lands will be completely Israel’s, and that the promise to Abraham will be fulfilled. Please give wisdom to Prime Minister Netanyahu, the military generals, and political leaders, and make them stand before God with courage and faith, and build the wall of Israel. We pray with gratitude that the Lord God of hosts will help Israel.

Father God!

Even during the war, we are thankful that Jews scattered throughout the world are returning from France, England, and many other countries as Aliyah. We are grateful that the new immigrants have a correct identity with Israel, correctly understand the word of God’s promise, and participate in returning and restoring the promised land. “You, O mountains of Israel, will sprout branches and bear fruit for my people Israel, for the time of their coming is near. I will go with you and will plow and plant you, and I will multiply people on you—the entire family of Israel—and I will make them settle in cities and build on the empty land. I will multiply people and beasts on you, making them numerous. I will settle you in your former estate and treat you better than at the beginning. Then you will know that I am the Lord.” (Ezekiel 36:8-11) We believe and pray that God is bringing about the blessing of restoration and prosperity for the land and people of Israel according to this word. “I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you. I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. I will put my Spirit within you and cause you to walk in my statutes and be careful to follow my ordinances. And you will live in the land I gave your ancestors and be my people, and I will be your God.” (Ezekiel 36:26-28) Please fulfill this word. Pour out your Holy Spirit and open their eyes and ears so they can see the Messiah Yeshua whom they are waiting for, and open their hearts so they can understand and become a saved people.

On June 27, a Muslim mob of about 200 people in Tangkil village, Sukabumi Chidahu District, West Java Province, Indonesia, attacked a home where a Christian youth retreat was taking place, driving out participants and damaging property. The Muslim mob, holding banners and shouting “Destroy that house,” smashed windows, a toilet, a pavilion, and a garden, threw a motorcycle into a river, and broke the gate. A man was seen tearing down a wooden cross from a wall and breaking a window while police and soldiers watched, and terrified youths were caught trying to get into a car as the crowd chanted and destroyed property with chairs and tools. The city authorities claimed the incident was “spontaneous by residents.” However, Christian human rights activist Permadi pointed out that “this is not a simple permitting issue, but state-sponsored anti-Christian Christianophobia.” In Indonesia, since the 2006 Joint Ministerial Decree, obtaining church building permits has been virtually impossible, so many churches are holding services without approval. Extremists are using this as an excuse to close down or attack churches.

Father God, we pray for the Indonesian youth of faith as I watch the video of youths on retreat being attacked by Muslims and being scattered in fear. Please work, Lord, so that the Indonesian government, which intentionally does not grant church building permits and illegally cracks down on and persecutes believers who gather at home to worship, will allow church construction. Bless the Indonesian believers who gather in house churches to keep their faith even in the midst of difficulties, where there is no place to gather. Bless the youth and worship while being influenced by control. Fill them with the Holy Spirit and the Word so that they keep their faith and are strong and victorious. “You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” (John 8:32) According to this word, please let us enjoy freedom through the word of the Lord. “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” (John 14:27) In the words of the Lord, may the Holy Spirit comfort and give peace to the youth, churches, and saints of Indonesia so that they may dwell in the peace of the Lord. Please keep the faith and be strong and victorious. “You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” (John 8:32) According to this word, may the Holy Spirit comfort and give peace to the youth of Indonesia so that they may enjoy freedom through the word of the Lord and dwell in faith in the peace of the Lord. Please let the next generation of youth grow in the infallible word of God and protect and guard them. May the Holy Spirit comfort the Indonesian church and believers and give them the courage to keep their faith and win. May the Lord rule over Indonesia and help and protect the believers so that the day will come when churches will be established, believers will gather freely, learn the truth of God’s word, and worship fully.

On June 27, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled 6-3 regarding LGBT education in public schools in favor of parents in Montgomery County, Maryland, regarding LGBT education in public schools. Parents have been granted the legal right to request that their children not receive LGBT education that they do not want. The Supreme Court’s ruling follows previous local and appellate rulings, in which parents filed a lawsuit against the Montgomery County Board of Education for requiring all students to read LGBT-related books. Montgomery County is one of the best-educated counties in the United States and has a large Korean population. The controversy began in 2022 when the Montgomery Board of Education decided to include LGBT-related books in English classes, and parents of various religions, including Christians, took large-scale protests and legal action in 2023.

Father God, thank you for accepting the opinions of parents and making the correct ruling on LGBT-related education that conflicts with the truth of the Bible. Conservative Justice Alito said, “It is unconstitutional for the government to impose an education that threatens parents' religious beliefs and educational methods.” We appreciate the majority opinion stating that “it is wrong for parents to have to accept an education they do not want to receive the benefits of a public school education.” We also appreciate that this decision allows parents to “opt out” of LGBT education for religious reasons. You have appointed conservative judges to support President Trump, and Judge Quattlebaum pointed out that “it is unconstitutional for parents to be forced to choose between giving up public education to follow their religion.” We also appreciate that the Supreme Court’s ruling, which was based on a correct legal interpretation, has played an essential role as a precedent for the boundaries of religious freedom and public education in the United States and the issue of LGBT education. “Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.” (Prov. 22:6) As the word says, I pray with tears for the children's generation and that they will receive the proper education and grow up. Please help the generations educated with anti-biblical ideology discern correctly and receive a new change based on the Word of God. We pray that more intercessors will repent and pray so that American society can turn to the Word of God and establish a Christian culture.

On June 29, Iran’s top Shiite religious leader, Grand Ayatollah Nasser Makarem Siraj, issued a religious order, “Fatwā,” targeting US President Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. This Fatwā was issued immediately after a ceasefire was reached on June 24, which temporarily halted the 12-day armed conflict between Iran and Israel, brokered by the US. The National Union for Democracy in Iran sees this as a “death order to Trump” and urges a firm response from the West, saying that the Iranian regime will continue its international terrorism, chaos, and assassination. The Fatwā is not legally binding but is symbolic in determining Iran's political and social atmosphere. Experts are calling this measure “an incitement to international terrorism by Iran using religion as a pretext.” They are concerned that it could repeat the infamous 1989 Fatwā order against Salman Rushdie.

Father God, we thank President you for the Trump and his cabinet, who are working to return America to conservative, patriotic, and Christian values. Even now, the media in America is criticizing them, and the progressives who have driven America to an anti-biblical ideology are attacking and weaponizing the judiciary. “For kings and all who are in authority, we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and dignity. This is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and come to know the truth.” (1 Timothy 2:2-4) As this verse says, we pray that our knees in prayer will be raised even higher. We thank you for allowing President Trump of the United States to play a vital role in bringing about a ceasefire in the 12-day war between Israel and Iran. The “sleeper cell,” a sleeper terrorist group in Iran, is threatening the United States with destroying Iran’s nuclear facilities. Please stop their activities and grant the Lord peace to America. Thank you for restoring America to Christian values, reforming government, and inspiring spiritual revival among the youth. Please purify America anew and protect lives from the world war caused by evil terrorist groups, and make America a nation that spreads the gospel to the nations and exerts good ethical and moral influence. Please make America a country that understands and practices the will of God, who desires the harvest of souls. Please lead the Holy Spirit so that many churches and intercessors continue to intercede and pray for the nation's leaders.

Father God, I (we) pray for South Korea.

Father God!

President Lee Jae-myung is finalizing the presidential office and cabinet appointments to lead state affairs together. Looking at the 33 candidates for prime minister and ministers (18 people) and senior presidential secretaries (15 people) who have been appointed so far, we can see that there is a trend of ‘Seo-oh-nam (Seoul National University, 50s, male)’ along with the fact that many politicians, bureaucrats, and businesspeople have been appointed. Looking at the presidential office and cabinet appointments, the average age is 59.5, and the majority are male (78%). Honam (12 people) was the most numerous by region, and 14 people graduated from Seoul National University.

Father God, please let us see all that is happening on this earth right now through Your eyes. Please let us judge by your truth, not by human standards. In a world where biased appointments, the collapse of the separation of powers, and the forces of pro-North Korea and clans shake the rule of law, we confess that we are powerless without your help. Thank you for allowing us to pray earnestly and unitedly for our country and people with one heart and mind. Lord, who is at the center of our country, please let justice, righteousness, humility, and truth take root in all appointments and decisions of President Lee Jae-myung, the cabinet, and the Office of the President, and work so that leaders who do not abuse their power and serve the people can be established. " Where there is no counsel, the people fall, but in the multitude of counselors there is safety." (Proverbs 11:14) As this verse says, please intervene so they can wisely solve the country's pressing issues with outstanding expertise and ability, and implement the best policies for the people with honesty and righteousness. Above all, please let the churches and believers of this country wake up and not look at all the social injustice and chaos happening now as someone else's business. Let them reflect on themselves first and pray with their hearts torn rather than speaking negative words. Please pour out the spirit of repentance so that the churches that have been silent and unable to speak out, the believers who have compromised, and the sins of following the trends of the world rather than the Word of God can repent and confess. “Your eyes are too pure to look on evil, and you cannot look on wrongdoing. Why do you look on the wicked and remain silent when the wicked devour those more righteous than they are?” (Hab 1:13) When we pray relying on this word, we can be sure that God will not remain silent and watch the wrongdoing. “Be on the alert. What I say to you I say to all: Be on the alert.” (Mark 13:37) Now, please let the church wake up from its spiritual slumber, arm itself with the Word, prayer, and the power of the Holy Spirit, and stand as an army of faith preparing for the end times. Please pour out the spirit of wisdom and revelation that can discern this age so that we may know that the Son of Man is near the door. Please join us with your mighty hand so that we can wake up only in prayer and fully utilize ourselves as a nation that can fulfill the mission of a new man and give glory to God.

Satellite image analysis suggests untreated radioactive wastewater from the Pyeongsan Uranium Refinery in North Hwanghae Province may have flowed into the West Sea via Ganghwa Bay and Gyeonggi Bay along the Yesong River. The area of ​​sludge (solid waste) inside the sedimentation tank increased 8.7 times, from 1.9 ha in 2006 to 16.6 ha in 2024, and satellite images clearly captured traces of green algae and leachate discharge. On the 1st, during a comprehensive policy inquiry session of the National Assembly Budget Settlement Special Committee, Rep. Lim Jong-deuk of the People Power Party mentioned suspicions that wastewater was discharged from the Pyeongsan County Uranium Refinery in North Hwanghae Province based on satellite images reported by a media outlet and asked the government whether it had confirmed the facts.

Father God, due to recent suspicions of unauthorized discharge of nuclear wastewater from the Pyeongsan Uranium Plant in North Korea, concerns about radioactive contamination in the Yesong River, the Han River, and the West Sea are growing. As we watch this, the people are concerned that despite the clear evidence of North Korea's unauthorized discharge of nuclear wastewater, the Lee Jae-myung government has not raised a strong voice against North Korea, has raised suspicions, and has not actively responded to the situation. We thank you for allowing the people to pray and express deep concern about the government's policies and responses toward North Korea in the current situation. May Almighty God grant extraordinary wisdom and discernment to the leaders who have taken power in the Republic of Korea. Please grant them the courage and determination to put national interests and the safety of the people first and to speak out firmly and strongly in situations where they are disadvantaged. “The violence of the wicked consumes them, because they refuse to do righteousness. The way of the wicked is crooked, but the path of the blameless is straight.” (Prov. 21:7-8) Please do not let them stand in the place of the wicked, but may the Holy Spirit rule their hearts so that they may choose the right path according to the justice and peace of the Lord. Please mobilize all possible methods, including cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), to allow the Lord to seek thorough verification and solutions. Please suggest a way to overcome this crisis by becoming one with a heart for our country and people, beyond political interests. “If my people, who are called by my name, humble themselves, pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and heal their land.” (2 Chron. 7:14) Seeing this series of events, may we who have faith first humble ourselves and kneel in prayer. We believe that when we turn from our evil ways and seek only the face of the Lord, He will heal and restore this land.
