Father God, we (I) pray for Israel.

Father God!

# On June 23, the Israeli military shot down dozens of Iranian drones using the secretive 5114th Squadron Electromagnetic Spectrum Unit, an important Israeli air defense system. They continued to strike Iran's main nuclear facilities and military bases, killing Iranian military officials and IRGC officials.

# On June 22, US President Donald Trump spoke about the state of Iran's nuclear facilities following the attacks on the Natanz, Fordow, and Isfahan atomic facilities. "Destroyed is the correct word," Iran said it had moved enriched uranium from Fordow to another location, but on June 24, it finally gave in to the ceasefire agreement.

# Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said in a statement that Israel had agreed to the ceasefire proposed by US President Donald Trump because Israel had achieved all of its war objectives. "Israel has eliminated an immediate existential threat, both in the nuclear and ballistic missile fields." Israel has stressed that it will respond to Iran’s violation of the ceasefire agreement if necessary.

# After the ceasefire agreement on the 24th, three large ballistic missiles were launched from Iran between 4:45 a.m. and 7:10 a.m., alarms sounded across Israel, killing five people and injuring at least 20 in Beersheba. In response, Israel declared retaliation. Israeli media reported that Ben Gurion Airport is expected to resume normal operations on Tuesday.

Father God, we thank you for the airstrikes by Israeli Air Force fighter jets that destroyed the IRGC’s surface-to-surface missile engine production facility and most of its military bases and missile launchers in the Shahroud area of ​​Iran. We especially thank you for the US’s attack and destruction of three Iranian nuclear facilities, thereby preventing Iran from developing nuclear weapons. Please let Iran realize that the earthquake in the Fordow area, which we attacked, was a warning from God to prevent Iran from developing nuclear weapons. Thank you for helping Israel's "Rising Lion" military operation against Iran to be successful. Thank you for leading Israel to victory after 12 days of war, when Iran raised its hand and came to a ceasefire, and Israel agreed. Please protect the Israeli military that is fighting against Hamas terrorist groups in the Gaza Strip. We are thankful that the bodies of the three hostages were recovered on the 22nd, and I pray that the remaining 53 hostages will be recovered and returned quickly. In this war with Iran, 29 Israelis were killed and more than 900 were injured, including 7 IDF soldiers.

Comfort the families who died and the wounded Israeli people, and protect and provide for the many families who lost their homes due to the Iranian airstrikes. Through this war with Israel, may Iran’s nuclear development be destroyed and the Khamenei regime in Iran fall. May all the nations of the world realize that the Lord God is protecting Israel and that the written words of God concerning Israel are being fulfilled. “You, O Lord, endure forever; your memory endures from generation to generation. You will arise and have mercy on Zion; now is the time to be gracious to her, for the appointed time has come.” (Psalm 102:12, 13) We praise Yeshua, the King who has shown mercy to Zion according to the appointed time and is building the city of the great King, Jerusalem. “The Lord will save Israel with an everlasting salvation; you will never be put to shame or disgraced.” (Isaiah 45:17) According to this word, may the soldiers on the battlefield and all the people of Israel believe that the battle belongs to the Lord and rely on the strong and mighty Lord, the Lord God, who is mighty in battle. Please give wisdom to the leaders of the Israeli army.

Father God, Israel is currently at war with Hamas in the Gaza Strip. Through this war, I believe that the Lord God is saving Israel and blessing it; I pray for and bless Israel. As the firstborn nation loved by God through their ancestors, until the full number of the salvation of the Gentiles from all countries is complete, I believe and give thanks that He is fulfilling His covenant with Israel when He turns away their ungodliness and takes away their sins. Please help the leaders of the nations and the people of the world realize that the war between Israel and Iran was not just a war for Israel alone, but a war for the protection of the world from anti-Semitism. Please help Israel’s defense systems operate thoroughly and accurately so that they can intercept and block ballistic missiles and unmanned drone attacks from outside at any time. Please make all soldiers going to war strong warriors of the Lord and protect them so that they can carry out their missions well with strength and courage. Please comfort all the people of Israel, especially the children, who are in the midst of the emergency of war, and give them peace and courage from above. Please completely save and protect Israel. We pray with gratitude that the Lord God of Hosts will help Israel so that the war in Gaza will end quickly with Israel’s victory and the promised lands will be completely Israel’s, as promised to Abraham.

According to a June 23 report by the United Christian Forum (UCF), an interdenominational Christian human rights group headquartered in New Delhi, India, there were 601 attacks on Christians in 2022, 734 in 2023, and 834 in 2024 across India over the past 10 years, with 313 violent incidents reported in five months in 2025. According to the 2011 census, the Christian population in India is about 2.3% of the total population, and 12 of India's 28 states, currently ruled by the Hindu nationalist Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), have laws restricting religious conversion. Hindu right-wing groups are exploiting the law to commit violence against the Christian community for allegedly attempting to force conversion. Christians have been particularly hard hit in the states of Uttar Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. In March, a church in Raipur, Chhattisgarh, was attacked by dozens of extremist Hindus, and electricity was cut off. Instead, many people, including Rajesh Sharma, a Christian, were arrested and imprisoned. Sharma’s request for bail was denied by both the lower court and the high court.

Father God, the Christian community and Christians in India are under great persecution, and their very identity and existence are threatened by violence and oppression. The Indian judicial system fails to protect the religious minority community, and many victims are unable to report their cases for fear of retaliation, but they are maintaining their faith. Please protect and guard the church and its members, as the persecution of Christians is increasing every year, and the hostility towards the Christian minority is spreading through the law and public opinion under the Hindu nationalist regime in recent years. Please help Sharma and the congregation of the Raipur church, who are currently imprisoned, to receive the proper judgment and be released quickly so they can live a life of faith. Not only is there the danger of online hate speech from extremist Hindus, but there are also attacks from violent mobs. To the churches and children of the Lord in India who are suffering from systematic exclusion and difficulties throughout society, “I want to hear this, that you are not afraid in any way because of your opponents, which is a proof to them of destruction but to you of salvation, which is from God” (Phil 1:28) According to this verse, please believe that these persecutions and difficulties are proof of salvation through faith in God, and grant the power of the Holy Spirit to the churches and the congregation to overcome with bold faith in salvation.

On June 22, a large-scale terrorist attack occurred at the Mar Elias Church in the Douweila district of Damascus, the Syrian capital. During a service, the attacker entered the church, opened fire, and then detonated a suicide vest, killing at least 20 people and wounding more than 50, and the number of casualties is still rising. At the same time, several other churches were attacked across Syria, including the Deir Ibrahim al-Khalil Monastery in Damascus, where a suicide bomber detonated a bomb. An explosive device was placed in front of the Church of Our Lady in Maqsura. In Homs and Hama, in central Syria, several churches were also attacked by armed men, and immediately after the attacks, leaflets with the words “Your turn is coming soon” were attached to the doors of the churches, indicating that the attacks were organized and planned.

Father God, Syria has been under the current Syrian transitional government since rebels overthrew the Bashar al-Assad regime in December 2024, and churches are at risk due to major terrorist attacks throughout Syria. Please comfort the families of those who died in the attacks and grant that those who were injured are healed and recover quickly. Please protect and guard the churches and the saints from the threats and fear of terrorism. “Deliver me from evildoers, and save me from bloodthirsty men, for they lie in wait for my life; the mighty gather together against me. This is not my fault, O LORD, nor because of my sin. They run and prepare themselves, though I am blameless. Watch and see, O Lord, for my help.” (Psalm 59:2-4) With this word, we pray for the Syrian church and saints. Please protect and deliver me from the persecution and threats to my life that I am receiving because I believe in you. We earnestly pray that true peace will be established for the Lord’s people in Syria.

# On June 19, the Center for TransYouth Health and Development (CTYHD) at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, one of the largest youth transgender clinics in the United States, closed its doors. CTYHD has been providing transgender-related treatment to youth, including puberty suppressants, hormone therapy, and surgery. However, it cited “the severe impact of federal executive action and pressure on youth to provide transgender care.”

# On June 4, Nebraska Governor Jim Pilen signed a bill into law in a 33-16 vote that would make it illegal for men to participate in women’s sports. The bill is an executive order signed by President Trump titled “Excluding Men from Women’s Sports.” The bill, which protects girls’ and women’s sports, follows the order that strictly defines gender as “male” or “female” in federal law and recognizes only two genders, male and female, stating that “men and women have unique and unchangeable differences that are permanent.”

Heavenly Father, we thank you for ending transgender ideology in several states and banning transgender men from participating in girls’/women’s sports. We also thank you for the 6-3 vote on June 18 by the U.S. Supreme Court to uphold Tennessee’s ban on providing gender transition hormones and puberty suppressants to minors. “Therefore I urge you, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship” (Romans 12:1) As this verse says, we are turning away from the anti-biblical, progressive ideas that have been spreading in America for so long and are honoring the gender that God created and ordained for us as men and women. We are returning to biblical principles and policies, and we are also releasing our children from the indoctrination they have been subjected to under cultural Marxism. Please continue to encourage not only parents, but also the church and believers, to wake up and pray more for our next generation of children.

Father God!

Following the success of President Trump’s massive air strike “Operation Midnight Hemmer” targeting Iran’s nuclear facilities on June 22, the security alert in the United States has been raised to the highest level. The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has warned of the potential for “sleeper cell” activity by “terrorist forces” within the country, which has seen thousands of Iranians enter the United States via the U.S.-Mexico border during the Biden administration, when the border was open. However, given that they are living across the country and their whereabouts are unknown due to the “catch-and-release” policy, they are warning of the possibility that “if the Iranian regime orders retaliation or issues a religious edict (fatwa), they could carry out terrorism in the United States.

Heavenly Father, “Pray for the peace of Jerusalem, and those who love you will prosper. May there be peace within your walls, and prosperity within your palaces” (Psalm 122:6-7). We thank you for allowing the United States to stand with Israel in its troubles. We pray that you will protect the growing number of Christians in Iran and that the economic fallout will not hit the world. And please pray that the war will not escalate, that Iran will come to the negotiating table and agree to a ceasefire, and that the prayers of intercessors will rise even higher. And please add heavenly wisdom to President Trump and the leadership of the United States, and let them use the authority that you have given them more for the harvest of peace, life, and souls. Let the church and intercessors rise and pray that all the accusations and media voices directed at him will be silenced. “You shall not add to or subtract from the word that I command you, but you shall keep the commandments of the Lord your God that I command you.” (Deut. 4:2) According to this word, may the right leaders rise and remember the good word of God, and may the United States be adequately governed as God’s sheep nation according to the word of God, and may they receive glory.

Father God, I (we) pray for South Korea.

Father God!

The anti-unification theory that defines the Korean War as a ‘civil war’ and opposed unification is a severe argument that solidifies division and blocks unification. He pointed out that the anti-unification theory is a passive attitude toward peaceful unification based on liberal democracy, which is the constitutional value of the Republic of Korea, and an attitude that does not recognize the nation’s mission to restore the human rights and freedom of North Korean residents. Regarding the unification issue, he said, “The anti-unification theory that views the Korean War as a civil war is a fiction, and true peaceful unification is possible based on the principles of liberal democracy and the protection of human rights.” He pointed out that “the ‘disguised anti-unification theory’ that justifies the North Korean regime or advocates a federal system and avoids unification is nothing more than a fake peace theory.”

Father God, this year, we commemorate the 75th anniversary of the Korean War, and we pray for our country and people as we reflect on the pain of history in which our compatriots had to fight with guns and swords. In the 75 years since, we remember the countless lives sacrificed amid the ravages of war, the families divided, and the tragedy of this land reduced to ashes. Amidst such despair, we give thanks and praise for the grace of Almighty God, who held this country in His hands and miraculously rebuilt it as a free, democratic nation that can stand shoulder to shoulder with the world. Please prevent this nation from experiencing the disaster of war again, and let the light of the gospel shine again on the land of North Korea. Please pity the North Korean people who have lived in the last remaining communist country, where freedom has been eradicated, while advocating the Juche ideology for three generations of Kim Il-sung, Kim Jong-il, and Kim Jong-un. “Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people chosen by God for His inheritance” (Psalm 33:12). Please let them also receive the blessing of becoming the people chosen by God for His inheritance. Please let the light of the gospel shine again on the land of North Korea. Please grant freedom to our fellow North Koreans who are oppressed by famine and idolatry with the word of truth and the power of the Holy Spirit. We believe. We confess that the power of the gospel that overcame death and darkness is the only way to unite the divided Korean Peninsula. “He will judge between the nations and decide for many peoples. They will beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks. Nation will not lift sword against nation, nor will they learn war anymore.” (Isaiah 2:4) Please stop practicing war, and let us humble ourselves first and repent, so that the grace of righteousness and the reign of Shalom may overflow on the Korean Peninsula. Please restore the Republic of Korea to its former glory with the gospel, and grant the grace of many faithful churches and leaders who prepare for the gospel unification that will come in God’s time, not through political calculations, but through prayer. Please unite us only in the name of Yeshua, so that the wounds of division may become a passage for missions, and let us be a holy, priestly nation that spreads the gospel to the countries in these last days.

# President Lee Jae-myung announced on the 23rd that he had nominated 11 ministerial candidates, including those for the Ministry of Science and ICT, during a briefing by Chief of Staff Kang Hoon-sik at the presidential office in Yongsan.

# Prime Minister nominee Kim Min-seok is facing a confirmation hearing, and amidst the ongoing controversy surrounding him, the confirmation hearing began on the 24th. It is said that the nominee failed to correctly answer questions about the size of this year's government budget during the confirmation hearing on the 24th, which was intended to verify his qualifications as prime minister.

Father God, you have allowed a new government to come into power and lead this nation. We observe that the new personnel who will lead this nation, along with the current president, are predominantly politically left-leaning and not well-balanced. The people are exhibiting severe polarization, and a culture of jealousy, hostility, and destruction prevails, with the gap widening.

First, we earnestly pray that the Father will have mercy and compassion on this country and people. Please let the spiritual eyes and ears of believers know how to discern the times. Please let them repent and confess their sins before God and go to a place of repentance. Please forgive my unrighteousness in still wandering in spiritual Egypt, offering prayers that foreigners ask for, and not living a life that distinguishes me as a faithful Christian. We confess that our indifference and compromise have allowed many false leaders to reign in this land. Since it is said, “God alone is the judge; he brings down one and exalts another” (Psalm 75:7), Father God, I believe and entrust all sovereignty over people to you. Please rule over the acts of injustice that reign and the pro-North Korea and clan forces that do not fear God or the people, bribing the people with material goods and covering up their sins with lies and deceiving them. Please intervene in the process of selecting the new prime minister and vice minister candidates for each ministry. We pray that you will thoroughly block those who wear false clothes from ever rising to high positions before the holy name of God. Please give the National Assembly and its members of the Personnel Hearing Special Committee the fearless courage and proper discernment to thoroughly and appropriately verify whether they are truly individuals who will work for the people and the future of the country, not just through simple personal attacks. As the word says, “Test all things; hold fast to what is good” (1 Thessalonians 5:21), please allow us to properly verify them and appoint those who are in line with God's will and the people as workers. Please intervene in the Holy Spirit so that we can navigate this time of confusion well and not be consumed by the politics of revenge, but rather so that the politics of this country can function normally. Please work so that the Republic of Korea can once again stand as a nation that fulfills its mission in these last days.

There are ongoing concerns about the ‘biased ideology’ of textbooks that have been introduced in schools, reflecting the revised 2022 curriculum. The ‘2022 Revised Curriculum Textbook Analysis Presentation Stained with Biased Ideology’ was held at the National Assembly Members’ Hall on June 24. At this event, it was noted that gender ideology, ecology, and specific political tendencies were reflected throughout primary textbooks, including those in the Korean language, as well as in subjects such as ethics, health, and social studies. It was pointed out that the Korean language textbook included works by many left-leaning literary writers. The scholarly text featured works by Hyun Deok and Lee Tae-jun, who defected to North Korea, and criticism was raised that the literature of left-leaning figures such as Jo Jung-rae and Shin Dong-yup was disproportionately represented. It was also pointed out that in social studies textbooks, the chronology starts from 0 years old, excluding the fetal period, which could weaken education on the dignity of life, and the description method that absolutizes the theory of evolution and the case of Brexit being treated only negatively were pointed out as problems with the genius textbook.

God the Father, we offer the next generation to you, the source of all wisdom and the Father who guides us with the Spirit of truth. Among the many textbooks currently in use, which were revised in 2022, criticisms have been raised regarding the inclusion of gender ideology, disregard for life, distorted historical views, and political bias. It is said that they instill biased ideas of characters through literary works and that they include content that confuses the identity and morality of youth through health education. What we learn at a young age is deeply engraved in our hearts and does not easily disappear. “Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it” (Prov. 22:6). As this verse says, please guide us on the right path so that we can restore education that can teach our children the way they should go. We pray that you will raise many teachers armed with the word of truth, parents who pray, and bold leaders who do not compromise so that false values will not taint them. “All Scripture is given by inspiration of God and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness.” (2 Timothy 3:16) Please help us to create an educational environment where everything our children learn in school reflects God’s order of creation and biblical values, and where they can develop balanced perspectives and critical thinking without being influenced by biased ideologies or distorted ideas. Please give the Ministry of Education, each office of education, and those who compile and review textbooks a heart that fears God, so that they can take on this work with a heart that genuinely loves the next generation that will lead this country. Please protect our children in this evil age, pour out the power of the Holy Spirit so that they will not follow this generation, and hold them with the arm of power so that they can become a generation that has made up their minds and kept the faith like Daniel. Please utilize them as workers who receive proper education and grow to fulfill the mission and responsibility entrusted to them by God, and who are not lacking in leading a healthy society.
