Prayer for the Restoration of Israel and Nations

'“The Redeemer will come to Zion, to those in Jacob who repent of their sins,” declares the Lord . “As for me, this is my covenant with them,” says the Lord . “My Spirit, who is on you, will not depart from you, and my words that I have put in your mouth will always be on your lips, on the lips of your children and on the lips of their descendants—from this time on and forever,” says the Lord .'

Father God, we (I) pray for Israel.

Father God!

Jerusalem Day, observed on May 26, is a national holiday commemorating the reunification of East and West Jerusalem following the Six-Day War in 1967. Thousands of people marched, sang, and danced through the streets of Jerusalem to celebrate the occasion. Hardline Jews also faced police repression for their threatening words and actions toward Arabs. “Therefore, thus says the Lord: ‘I have returned to Jerusalem in mercy, and my house will be built in her, and a line will be set over Jerusalem,’ declares the Lord Almighty. He will shout again, ‘Thus says the Lord Almighty: My cities will again be overflowing with abundance; the Lord will again comfort Zion and again choose Jerusalem.’” (Zec 1:16-17)

Father God, even though Israel is currently in the midst of war, may the Lord God comfort Zion through this war. We believe that you are choosing Jerusalem again, saving Israel, and blessing Israel, and I pray for you. We believe that you are fulfilling your covenant with Israel when you turn away their ungodliness and take away their sins, as you said, ‘Until the full number of the salvation of the Gentiles from all nations has been completed, as the firstborn nation that received God’s love through their ancestors.’ We thank you for your promise that Israel will return to you, listen to your word, and live in the light of your righteousness. Let it become a nation that is established. Reveal that the Lord God is the God of Israel, and let Israel become a people who serve the Lord God completely. “Comfort, comfort my people, says your God. Speak to the heart of Jerusalem and cry to her, ‘The time of her slavery is over, her iniquity is forgiven, she has received from the hand of the Lord double for all her sins.’” (Isaiah 40:1, 2) Also, let Israel now obey the word of the Lord God to comfort Israel through Christians who believe in Yeshua from all nations. Let the churches and saints of other nations truly love and comfort the people of God who are suffering from this painful war and terrorism. Open the eyes of Israel to see Yeshua, the King of the Jews, the King of the Great City of Jerusalem, and open their ears to hear the news of Yeshua, the Messiah who will come as the King of Peace, and let Israel become one who understands with their hearts. Holy Spirit, please make history.

Father God!

On May 27, the 599th day of the war, the Israeli Netanyahu government proposed the "Witkoff Agreement", which is the only "Witkoff Agreement" currently under discussion, which includes the release of 10 hostages and a 60-day ceasefire. In response to the US government's request to the Israeli government to hold off on an all-out offensive while negotiations for the release of the hostages are underway, the Israeli government said, "If there is an opportunity to return the hostages, we are ready for a temporary ceasefire." On the morning of the 25th, the Israel Defense Forces said, "The new ground operation against Hamas aims to seize 75% of the territory of the Gaza Strip within two months."

# On the 22nd and 24th, the IDF intercepted rockets fired by Hamas toward Ashkelon from northern Gaza, and as soon as the missiles crossed the southern border of Israel, an air raid warning was issued, and residents of border areas such as Sderot were evacuated to shelters.

## Early on Tuesday, the 27th, a missile fired from the Houthi terrorist group from Yemen toward Israel was intercepted, and rocket alarms sounded in Samaria and the West Bank. Father God, this land and this person, the firstborn nation that you recorded in the Bible, and the people of God who have lived by the word of God, are in the midst of war and terrorist attacks. Please protect the Israeli army that is eliminating the remnants of Hamas’ terrorist groups and terrorist infrastructure through ‘Operation Gideon’s Chariots’, and pray for the quick return of all 58 hostages (20-23 likely to survive, 35 dead) remaining in the Gaza Strip. Please comfort and strengthen the families, friends, and relatives of the remaining hostages who are anxiously waiting for the release of the hostages every day. Please hold the remaining hostages who are suffering in Hamas’ evil situation, give them the strength to endure to the end, and open the way for them to be released quickly. Comfort the parents of the young soldiers who sacrificed their lives to protect their country and their families, the families who lost their husbands and fathers, and the parents who lost their children, and let the many wounded soldiers heal quickly. “Thus says the Lord: The captives of the mighty will be taken, and the prey of the fearful will be rescued; for I will oppose those who oppose you, and I will save your children” (Isaiah 49:25) According to this word, please save the hostages, and personally oppose Hamas, the enemy who started this evil, and completely save Israel. Please protect and guard the soldiers on the battlefield so that they believe that the war belongs to the Lord, rely on the Lord God, and carry out their missions well with strength and courage. May the Israeli soldiers become strong warriors of the Lord and show and boast of God's holiness.

# Father God, we pray that Hamas in Gaza and the Houthi rebels in Yemen, who are with Iran and continue to launch missiles toward Israel, will be eliminated. In particular, please rule over the Houthi rebels who continue to launch ballistic missiles, and expose and destroy Iran's evil plans to attack and destroy Israel through Hezbollah, Hamas, and the Houthis. "He who digs a pit will fall into it, and he who rolls a stone will be crushed by it" (Prov. 26:27) "A man's heart plans his way, but the Lord directs his steps" (Prov. 16:9) Please expose and destroy all the evil plans of Iran so that they fall into the traps they have dug for themselves. Through these things, let not only Iran and its people but also all nations realize that God chose Israel first and is fulfilling the words He recorded today. Thank you. Father God, we proclaim that the complete restoration of Jerusalem will be accomplished in the name of the Messiah Yeshua, who will come again! In the name of Yeshua, we shatter all the idols that have defiled Israel and the temple in Jerusalem. In the name of Yeshua, I oppose all the wicked acts of the pagans in the Valley of Hinnom and the foreign gods in the Valley of Kidron and extinguish them with the fire of the Holy Spirit. We proclaim that Jerusalem will be purified in the powerful name of Yeshua and that it will be covered with the blood of Yeshua. The altar of Abraham on Mount Moriah will be restored. The altar of burnt offering on the threshing floor of Araunah, which David will be erecting, will be erected entirely. The temple established by Solomon, proclaiming peace, will be transformed into a house of prayer for all peoples, and worship will be restored. So that preparations can be made in Jerusalem to welcome the Messiah Yeshua, who will come again, “For Zion’s sake I will not be silent, for Jerusalem’s sake I will not rest, until her righteousness shines like the brightness, and her salvation like a burning torch.” (Isaiah 62:1) We praise the Lord God who said this and is working tirelessly for the glory of Jerusalem.

June 2nd and 3rd are the Feast of Pentecost in Israel. It is the 50th day after Israel left Egypt, when Moses received the Ten Commandments and the Law from God on Mount Sinai, and it is also the Feast of the Harvest of Summer Grains, barley, and wheat. In the New Testament, after Jesus died on the cross and was resurrected, he “presented himself alive to his disciples by many infallible proofs, appearing to them for forty days and speaking about the kingdom of God. When he was gathered together with them, he commanded them not to leave Jerusalem, but to wait for the gift the Father had promised, which you heard from me. For John was baptized with water, but in a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.” (Acts 1:3-5) As he said, this is the day the Holy Spirit descended on the praying disciples on Pentecost. Please come to Mark’s prayer room and work, Holy Spirit. “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth” (Acts 1:8) Lord, who gave the Holy Spirit as you said, established the church in Jerusalem, and made the gospel be witnessed to all nations, please pour out the Holy Spirit on the Messianic Jewish churches in Israel and the churches of the nations who are praying on this Pentecost. Please pour out the fire of the Holy Spirit that you poured out on the early church in Jerusalem on the saints who are praying in the church of God in this last age. Please come down like the wind and fire of the Holy Spirit on all those who pray and yearn for the power of the Holy Spirit to prepare the way for the Lord’s coming. In particular, please establish the Messianic Jewish churches and the saints of the nations as witnesses who will preach the gospel of the kingdom of Yeshua, who will return to Jerusalem, all Judea, and Samaria, and the nations, to prepare the way for the Lord’s return. “Baruch HaBa Beshem Adonai.” “Amen, Come, Lord Yeshua.” Let us praise together.

Hong Kong, a former British colony until it was returned to China in 1997, has become a special administrative region of China. As a result, its citizens are leaving due to restrictions on their freedoms. The British government expects more than 300,000 visa applications this year, with around 130,000 expected to arrive this year alone, thanks to the introduction of the new visa system. In particular, approximately 12% of Hong Kong residents are Christians, and churches in the UK are ready to welcome them with the love of Jesus and offer them support to those who need it now. One Hong Kong church said the Chinese government had frozen its bank account simply because it was helping victims of political persecution. Freedom activist Bob Fu said, “The repression in some parts of Hong Kong is so severe that freedom of expression and freedom of association are worse than in mainland China. Crackdown: Arbitrary detention, mass surveillance, and massive crackdowns on legally elected members of parliament.” “We are sending a strong message to the world about what is happening in Hong Kong. The world must take note. There is no longer any rule of law, independence, freedom of speech, or freedom of association in Hong Kong. These are all gone.”

Father God, we pray for Hong Kong and its Christians. Since Hong Kong was returned to China in 1997, Christians and liberal democracy activists in Hong Kong have been oppressed. Hong Kong residents born before 1997 are eligible to apply for a UK immigration visa, and we are especially thankful that churches in the UK are ready to welcome and share the gospel with them. China, which is oppressing the church in China, is said to be oppressing and persecuting the activities of churches in Hong Kong even more than they do in the mainland. “Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have also obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. And not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces perseverance, and perseverance, character, and character, hope.” (Romans 5:1-4) Please give the saints in Hong Kong strength and power to look forward to the day of God’s glory and to be victorious only through Yeshua the Messiah in these difficult times. Please govern the Xi Jinping regime in China, which is persecuting the church and restricting the life of faith of the saints, and let the day come when the 58 autonomous regions of China become independent and freely preach and hear the good news of the gospel. Fox News reported on May 19 that Grand Canyon University (GCU), the largest Christian university in the United States, in Arizona, was recently cleared of a $37.7 million fine imposed by the Department of Education during the previous administration. The fine was imposed in October 2023 by the Department of Education for false advertising of doctoral program fees, the largest fine in the department’s history. GCU denied the charges, saying, “We are transparent about the cost of our entire program.” The Appellate Division of the Department of Education ruled, “GCU and its officials committed no wrongdoing and no fine was imposed,” and the court agreed. The conservative think tank American Principles Project found in its report on the Department of Education’s investigation of unfairness against Christian universities that less than 10% of all college students are Christian, but 70% of the Department of Education’s sanctions are concentrated on Christian universities. The average fine for Christian colleges ($815,000) was also 3.5 times higher than that for regular colleges.

Father God, thank you for correcting the oppression and disadvantages that the previous administration’s Department of Education had for pursuing anti-biblical policies. This case shows that the regulation of Christian institutions has been unfair and intensified under the Biden administration. GCU President Brian Mueller recalled, “It was a politically motivated oppression by the government, and our exemplary transparency and innovation were instead attacked,” and thanked God for this righteous ruling. Please bless Grand Canyon University, which aspires to become a university that fully fulfills its mission as a Christian educational institution, and bless and utilize it so that the next generation can be prepared as workers of faith through proper education. Please end the Biden administration’s policy of eliminating religious freedom and protections for religious groups on college campuses and forcing Christians to implement radical transgender ideology that goes against their faith through the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. Please stop the current administration’s education policy from realizing biblical culture and values, saying, “If there is no religious freedom, it is not a free country. We are grateful that the Justice Department has established a task force to eradicate anti-Christian bias, reviewing policies and practices that have attempted to suppress religious activities, and turning to sound Christian policies. Please help the country establish and implement sound policies so that our next generation is educated in the Word of God and grows up to be people who fear God and love their neighbors.

The South Carolina Supreme Court unanimously upheld the Fetal Heartbeat and Abortion Protection Act, upholding the state’s ban on abortions from the moment a fetal heartbeat is detected at six weeks of pregnancy. Planned Parenthood, a major abortion advocacy group, changed the definition of a fetal heartbeat at six weeks of pregnancy to nine weeks, allowing three more weeks of unrestricted abortions by referring to the heartbeat as “electrical flutter.” The Supreme Court rejected the argument that the heart is not fully developed until nine weeks and that the term “embryo” is used instead of “fetus,” citing the fact that the two terms were used interchangeably. The ruling led to a 78 percent decrease in abortions in South Carolina.

Heavenly Father, we thank you for the fact that after the Supreme Court struck down the right to abortion, conservative states in the United States are beginning to implement pro-life laws that ban or restrict abortion. “I have trusted in you from the womb; you have chosen me from my mother’s womb; I will always praise you” (Psalm 71:6). As this verse says, life begins at the moment of conception. Please continue to destroy the schemes of abortionists who seek to destroy this concept. Please teach the correct truth about the beginning of life in sex education materials and public health materials in schools, and do not allow scientific consensus or other descriptions to overturn the truth. Please help our children learn and protect that life is a precious gift that belongs to you. Please bless the next generation to completely fear you, the Lord of our lives, and live a life of obedience to your Word with the correct values ​​as your children.

With the gap in approval ratings narrowing a week before the June 3 presidential election, the Democratic Party of Korea has raised its offensive to the highest level. They have launched a crossfire targeting People Power Party presidential candidate Kim Moon-soo. They have launched a counterattack after candidate Kim attempted to differentiate himself from Democratic Party presidential candidate Lee Jae-myung by shouting, “Eternal life for integrity, immediate death for corruption.” They are mobilizing negative strategies to prevent the image of integrity between candidate Lee, who has experienced judicial risks, and candidate Kim from being contrasted.

Father God, we stand at a historical turning point ahead of the June 21st presidential election, and we thank you for allowing us to pray earnestly for our country and people. The fairness and trust in the election have collapsed, and the people are polarized, jealous of each other, and more confused than ever, leaving us with a clear indication of a desperate crisis. In the midst of this, we, as God’s people, are moving forward, praying for God’s perfect will to be done. Almighty God has embraced our people since the beginning, protected them through countless wars and chaos, and has led them forward while protecting liberal democracy. We regret and confess that I have turned away from God, who has guided the history of our people, and have stood by and watched the order of creation in God’s kingdom collapse. While the Korean church has followed the customs of the world and fallen into a deep spiritual sleep, the pro-North Korean leftist forces and the totalitarian forces of the clan have shaken the freedom and sovereignty of the Republic of Korea, and have driven the Republic of Korea into further confusion with the winds of ideological confusion and lies. “Seek good and not evil, that you may live; and the Lord, the God of hosts, will be with you, as you have said. The 26th Seoul Queer Culture Festival will take place from June 1 to 22, spanning three weeks. The slogan for this year's festival is "We Never Stop," and various events are planned to promote the visibility and human rights of sexual minorities. The festival organizing committee expects more than 150,000 people to participate in this year's parade and is currently seeking an appropriate venue to ensure safe and smooth progress. Meanwhile, some Christian groups are planning a counter-protest on the same day, so various opinions are expected to be expressed at the festival site.

Father God, we praise the grace of God who created man and woman and blessed families and society. However, South Korea is now sinking into a wave of confusion, deception, and moral decay. We kneel in prayer in sorrow as festivals that glorify homosexuality and gender reassignment are held without hesitation in front of youth, and the order of creation established by God is collapsing. Please prevent the Queer Festival, which is being held as a cultural festival for three weeks starting on June 1st, from being held in Korea. “Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter!” (Isaiah 5:20) In this era where the boundary between good and evil is collapsing, our children and the next generation are exposed without any protection. Please have pity on the youth who are indiscriminately exposed to distorted sexual values ​​without proper protection and who are falling into a life of confusion and sin. Please protect them from being deceived by these false values ​​and open their spiritual eyes. “Remember your Creator in the days of your youth” (Ecclesiastes 12:1). Please let the next generation rise as a holy generation that fears God. Now, our country is in a problematic situation where those who speak the truth are oppressed in the name of the anti-discrimination law, and churches and believers who spread the gospel are suffering legal disadvantages. If the right leader is not elected, this bill could easily sail through like a breeze. Please block this discriminatory law from being passed directly. In these last days, please allow the church to speak up, not to bow down to injustice and bend the truth, but to proclaim the truth boldly, granting the fullness of the Holy Spirit, wisdom, and power to preach that Jesus is the Christ. We pray that you will pour out your spiritual discernment on the Korean church and believers, so that they may fully discern God’s will from what is evil and obscene. Please let the spirit of obscenity and falsehood leave this land, and may you pour out the amazing grace of restoring the order of creation, so that the next generation of the Korean church can continue to receive the blessing of going out into the world with the gospel.
