Prayer for the Restoration of Israel and Nations
'the twenty-four elders fall down before him who sits on the throne and worship him who lives for ever and ever. They lay their crowns before the throne and say: “You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they were created and have their being.”' (Revelation 4:10-11) Father God, we (I) pray for Israel. Father God! On the afternoon of June 9, a "fire suppression operation" was declared in the Karmit Forest near En Kerem in Jerusalem. Residents of a nearby Swedish village were evacuated, and light rail tram service was suspended. However, the fire was eventually extinguished. Father God, last month, the fires along Highway 1 and other places were caused by terrorism, and the fires destroyed many forests and homes. Earlier Monday, a large fire broke out in En Kerem in Jerusalem, causing difficulties for a time. We pray for the peace of Jerusalem and the lands that God has restored, declaring the words of Ezekiel 36:5-12. 5. this is what the Sovereign Lord says: In my burning zeal I have spoken against the rest of the nations, and against all Edom, for with glee and with malice in their hearts they made my land their own possession so that they might plunder its pastureland.’ 6. Therefore prophesy concerning the land of Israel and say to the mountains and hills, to the ravines and valleys: ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: I speak in my jealous wrath because you have suffered the scorn of the nations. 7. Therefore this is what the Sovereign Lord says: I swear with uplifted hand that the nations around you will also suffer scorn. 8. “ ‘But you, mountains of Israel, will produce branches and fruit for my people Israel, for they will soon come home. 9. I am concerned for you and will look on you with favor; you will be plowed and sown, 10. and I will cause many people to live on you—yes, all of Israel. The towns will be inhabited and the ruins rebuilt. 11. I will increase the number of people and animals living on you, and they will be fruitful and become numerous. I will settle people on you as in the past and will make you prosper more than before. Then you will know that I am the Lord. 12. I will cause people, my people Israel, to live on you. They will possess you, and you will be their inheritance; you will never again deprive them of their children. We praise the living Jehovah God who brought the people of Israel back to their homeland, restored the land for them, blessed the people, and protected them. We bless the promised land and the people who reveal the glory of the Lord. May God the Father be glorified. Father God! # On June 5, the IDF and Shin Bet recovered the bodies of Judith Weinstein Hagai and Gadi Hagai, Israeli-American dual citizens who were killed on October 7, 2023, from the Gaza Strip. Then, on the 7th, they recovered the body of the last hostage in Thailand, Pinta Natapong. "This operation was possible thanks to accurate information obtained through Shin Bet interrogation of terrorists and information received from the Hostage Investigation Unit and IDF Intelligence," he said. A total of 56 hostages remain in the Gaza Strip, and only about a third of them are believed to be alive. One of the two American citizens currently held in the Gaza Strip is Israeli-American Itai Chen, who was kidnapped by Hamas while serving in a tank battalion near the Gaza border. Father God, in the past week's battle in Gaza, the Israeli military recovered the bodies of three of the hostages. On June 6, a building collapsed in the Battle of Khan Yunis in the Gaza Strip, killing four Israeli soldiers. Please wipe away the tears of the families of the hostages who died, and the comrades and friends who are fighting alongside the four dead soldiers, and comfort them and give them strength. Please protect the Israeli military who are eliminating the remnants of Hamas’ terrorist groups and terrorist infrastructure through ‘Operation Gideon’s Chariots’, and pray for the quick return of all 56 hostages (survivors and dead) remaining in the Gaza Strip. Please comfort and give strength to the families, friends, and relatives of the remaining hostages and all Israelis who are waiting for the release of the hostages, pleading with their hearts and praying every day. Please hold the remaining hostages who are suffering under Hamas’ evil situation, give them the strength to endure to the end, and open the way for them to come out quickly. “Thus says the Lord: The captives of the mighty shall be taken, and the prey of the fearful shall be delivered: for I will contend with those who contend with you, and I will save your children” (Isaiah 49:25) According to this word, please save the hostages, oppose Hamas, the enemy who started this evil, and Iran, who controls and supports them behind the scenes, and completely save Israel. Please protect and guard the soldiers on the battlefield so that they may believe that the war belongs to the Lord, rely on the Lord God, and be strong and courageous in carrying out their missions well. Please make the soldiers of Israel strong warriors of the Lord, and let them show and boast of God’s holiness. Father God! On June 8, the Israeli military towed the Madeline, a relief ship operated by the Freedom Fleet Coalition, to the Israeli coast of Ashdod after it had departed the Italian port of Catania on June 1 to deliver humanitarian aid to activist Greta Thunberg and her crew, along with journalists from Qatar’s state-run media outlet and Hamas propaganda outfit Al Jazeera and Hezbollah activists. The Israeli Foreign Ministry said all passengers would be repatriated and released a video saying, “They were given water and sandwiches, and now the show is over.” The IDF said in 2011 that a UN commission headed by former New Zealand Prime Minister Sir Geoffrey Palmer concluded that Israel’s coastal blockade following the Mavi Marmara incident was a “legitimate security measure to prevent the flow of weapons into Gaza by sea.” Its implementation complied with the requirements of international law, and it had full legal and moral rights to Greta’s ship. This fleet is not for peace or aid, it is for visuals, politics, and provocation. They stated that their purpose is to make headlines, provoke conflict, and portray Israel as an aggressor, while ignoring the reality on the ground. If Greta truly wanted to help the people of Gaza, she said it would be normal to do so through the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation, which we and Israel are promoting. Father God, thank you for the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation, which is being jointly run by the US and Israel, providing over 9 million meals in just over a week, completely bypassing Hamas, which intercepts relief supplies and beats and threatens civilians with guns, and distributing relief supplies directly to civilians. Despite the existence of this humanitarian foundation, please rule over the evil of Greta and other social activists who are leading anti-Semitic media outlets to Hamas, which intercepts humanitarian aid, hoards supplies for its fighters, and sells inflated food supplies to raise money for war. “All nations have surrounded me; in the name of the Lord, I will cut them off. They have surrounded me, they have surrounded me; in the name of the Lord I will cut them off. They have surrounded me like bees; they are consumed like thorns; in the name of the Lord I will cut them off.” (Psalm 118:10-12) We pray that you will cut off and rule over Greta and the social activists who are supporting Hamas, which is currently plundering the food, fuel, and medicine of the people of Gaza, selling them at high prices, and using them as terrorist funds, and who are promoting anti-Semitism. Please let Israel believe entirely and rely on God’s protection and fulfillment of His word, and praise the name of the Lord. In the name of Yeshua Messiah, I (we) pray for Israel.
'Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here! ' (2 Corinthians 5:17) Father God, I (we) pray for Indonesia. Father God! The Christians of Sungai Keledang village in Samarinda Seberang District, East Kalimantan, Indonesia, where the majority of the population is Muslim and about 12% are Christians, have asked for prayers, saying that for the third time, Muslims have put up banners opposing church permits and are blocking the construction of a church in the village. The Sungai Church, with approximately 90 members, has completed all the application documents that meet the requirements of Indonesia’s new religious building establishment regulations. They hope that the government or local council will grant them a building permit. Father God, we pray for the Sungai Church in Indonesia to receive a building permit. The Sungai Church, with 90 members, has applied for a building permit, accompanied by all the necessary interfaith harmony forums, recommendations from the Samarinda City Religious Affairs Department, letters of support from 80 residents, and all the required building documents. However, not only has it not yet received a permit from the government, but it is also facing difficulties due to opposition from the local Muslim community. “From the rising of the sun to its going down, the name of the Lord is to be praised. The Lord is high above all nations; His glory is above the heavens.” (Psalm 113:4,4) Please take care of the Sungai Church in Indonesia. May a beautiful place of worship be established for God, and may the name of the Father, who is worthy of praise and worship, be exalted and praised. Let us not become weary in doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up" (Galatians 6:9) We pray that you will protect the Sangha Church so that it can move forward in faith amidst continued obstacles and opposition, and that you will complete the construction of the church in the Lord's time. Father God, please bless the churches that are the body of Christ established in Indonesia, and protect the servants of the Lord within the church. Fill them with the Holy Spirit and grant them the ability to proclaim, preach, and teach the Word boldly. In particular, please protect and guard the missionaries who have received the Lord's calling and entered the land to love every soul, preach the gospel, and serve them, and grant them the power of the Holy Spirit so that they can fulfill the mission of the Lord's calling. We place the land of Indonesia in your hands and earnestly pray that you will receive glory. Father God! In August 2004, the short-term mission team from Seoul Yeongrak Church finished their schedule in Indonesia and returned home. On the last day of their visit, three students from the mission team were swept away by the waves while playing in the water at the beach. A fisherman saved one, and two students, Jinwoo Jeong (3rd year of middle school) and Seunggu Lee (2nd year of middle school), lost their lives. In the sorrow of the bereaved families, the church, and the school, the parents of Jinwoo and Seunggu said, “Jinwoo Jeong and Seunggu Lee, who came here because they loved the Lord, received the Lord’s calling. May their deaths become the seeds of the gospel so that this country and these people can enjoy the abundant season of Christ.” We are grateful that they dedicated ‘Jinseung Middle School’ to God in the names of their fallen children, along with a bronze plaque that read, “Please let the Lord call you here, Jinwoo Jeong and Seunggu Lee, who came here because they loved the Lord.” Yeongnak Church and Singapore Korean Church also said, “Unless a grain of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it bears much fruit.” (John 12:24) With this verse, I thank you for cooperating with us in scholarships and school construction, and for sending short-term mission teams to provide educational services and medical missions. We thank you for helping Jinseung School grow and for expanding the school from a two-room classroom on the first floor to a three-story building with 10 classrooms. I thank you for producing 20 graduates in 2007, 99 graduates in 2014, 264 graduates this year, and for currently having 788 students. Please comfort and bless Jinwoo and Seunggu’s parents, and bless the people of the Lord who have served Yeongnak Church and Singapore Korean Church through short-term mission, devoting their resources to this day. Please let the students raised through Jinseung School become precious workers in Indonesia, and let them become those who shine the light of God's word. Please let all the students read, learn, and obey the word of God, live a life of righteousness, and let them shine as the light of the world, revealing God's glory in Indonesia. We (I) prayed for the nations in the name of Yeshua Messiah. Amen.
'This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him. ' (1 John 5:14-15) Father God, I (we) pray for the US. Father God! On June 4, the Trump administration took several actions through executive orders to respect life. One of them was the revocation of the emergency room abortion guidelines during the Biden era, which “returned us to the path of respect for life and restoration of sovereignty, and this decision allowed hospitals and doctors to focus on providing care without fear of legal punishment. The Democratic Party and progressives, who have strongly opposed this measure as “the federal government’s overreach to circumvent state laws,” are protesting, saying that this measure could infringe on the rights of women whose lives are threatened. However, in reality, the ‘Emergency Treatment Act’ remains in effect, and appropriate treatment is possible in cases of life-threatening conditions at the discretion of medical professionals and in accordance with state laws. Father God, we thank you for revoking the emergency room abortion guidelines during the Biden era by executive order for the sake of respect for life, thereby returning us to the path of respect for life and restoration of sovereignty. We thank you for this revocation order, which restored the protection of life policy in the United States, clarified the power structure between the federal government and the states, and reaffirmed the authority of each state to protect life on its own in the debate on medical ethics. The guidelines that protect life through pro-life policies that cherish the life of the fetus that belongs to God are restored, and local health policies, hospital operations, and thank you for having a positive influence on the medical ethics code. “For you formed my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, my soul knows it very well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in secret, and wonderfully woven in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.” (Psalm 139:13-16) We praise and thank the Lord who created every one of us according to His will and wants all the lives He gives us on this earth to be cherished and blessed. We thank you that the lives that the precious Lord sends to this earth will not only respect life politically through the newly established government of the United States, but also comply with the principles of federalism and separation of powers, and restore the original intent of the Emergency Medical Treatment Act (EMTAL). Please keep and bless the prayers of the church, intercessors, and parents for the next generation so that America can return to the biblical path in all its policies. Father God! On June 2, the Donald Trump administration announced that it would not observe Pride Month, the month dedicated to celebrating sexual minority rights in June. Pride Month, which was first declared by President Bill Clinton in 1999 as Gay and Lesbian Pride Month, was expanded in 2011 by former President Barack Obama to include bisexual and transgender people. Recently, Republican Representative Mary Miller introduced a resolution to designate June as Family Month. She said, “American families are under constant attack by a radical leftist agenda that seeks to erase the truth, redefine marriage, and confuse our children.” “We must recognize June as ‘Family Month’ and believe in God’s perfect design for the family,” she said. “If we truly want to restore our nation, we must unite to protect and defend the foundation on which our nation was built: the family.” Father God, for the past several years in the United States, June has been 'Pride Month' dominated by businesses that display rainbow flags and the ideology of sexual minorities. Thank you for the conservative administration's policy of recovery and change in the cultural environment. Please change June from Pride Month to Family Month, so that families can be protected, safeguarded, and firmly established from the start, at home. "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose" (Romans 8:28) As this verse says, let the United States preserve the order of creation and the beauty of God's creation according to the word of truth. Let the church and parents wake up and properly educate their children with the word. Please help our children to be protected and safeguarded from negative influences such as the ideology of sexual minorities. This year, we are thankful that sports teams and companies that have suffered through the devastating boycotts of the past two years have scaled back or eliminated Pride Month promotions and products. “Be sober-minded; be vigilant. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. Resist him, steadfast in the faith.” (1 Peter 5:8) Please pray that parents will be vigilant and pray in faith, protect their children’s souls, and be examples of living by faith, becoming parents whom their children respect. Please protect our children from transgender ideology and sexual minority ideology, and let marriage return to being between one man and one woman, and restore and preserve the order of the family. We (I) prayed for America in the name of Yeshua, Messiah. Amen.
'For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord , “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. ' (Jeremiah 29:11-13) Father God, I (we) pray for South Korea. Father God!
The court also decided on the 10th to postpone President Lee Jae-myung's trial in Daejang-dong. Seoul Central District Court Criminal Agreement 33rd Division announced on this day that the trial date for President Lee's Daejang-dong, Baekhyun-dong, and Wirye development corruption suspicions and Seongnam FC suspicions, which was scheduled for the 24th, "has been set for a later date by Article 84 of the Constitution." A later date designation (presumptive) refers to a case where the date is changed, postponed, or continued without setting a subsequent date, and this is expressed as 'presumptive' in court practice. Earlier, Seoul High Court Criminal Division 7 (Chief Judge Lee Jae-kwon) also announced yesterday (the 9th) that the date for the remand trial of President Lee's violation of the Public Official Election Act has been set for a later date.
Father God, we pray for President Lee Jae-myung, who has been inaugurated as the president of this country. We acknowledge that the results people wanted and did not want were achieved in God's hands, and I thank you for allowing me to pray for the things we are facing in reality. As we hear news that trials related to this president are being postponed one after another, doubts and tensions are growing in the hearts of the people. Please grant God the wisdom and discernment of heaven to the president and all state administrators, and guide them to make decisions that will not be shameful in the eyes of the people. We pray that those who enjoy abusing their power as president, or those who deal with the law because they are president, will be granted the proper understanding and courage so that they will not cowardly kneel before power. “I have taught you the statutes and ordinances, just as the Lord my God commanded me, so that you may do them in the land you are entering to possess. Observe and do them. This is your wisdom and your understanding in the sight of the nations, who will hear all these statutes and say, ‘Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people!’” (Deut. 4:5-6)
Father God, please make it clear to the people that the president is not above the law, and let him realize the spirit of the constitution that ‘all are equal before the law’ through action. Please discipline me so that I will never be able to use my position as president as a shield to stand above the law. Please do not let the foundation of the rule of law collapse under the president, but rather, let me use this as an opportunity to restore the people's trust by implementing a government that operates with justice and fairness. Please work with God so that we can correctly understand the boundaries between authority and immunity as stated in Article 84 of the Constitution, and so that we can stand as a leader who shows fairness from the perspective of the people, so that we do not hide behind the law and manipulate or conceal the law at my own will. “By justice a king establishes a land, but he who takes bribes overthrows it.” (Proverbs 29:4) Please interfere so that the president does not pursue short-term achievements or political advantages and disadvantages, but establishes policies based on a clear and consistent philosophy for the future of the Republic of Korea, and so that he does not engage in short-term politics. Above all, please let me sincerely communicate with the people, listen to the voices of various classes and generations, and refrain from engaging in politics to gain popularity and show off myself. We pray that God will personally rule over me so that I can become a leader who leads the country based on empathy and trust, not one-sided politics such as pro-North Korea or pro-China. “When a man speaks good words, the king is pleased; when the words of his mouth are honest, he is loved.” (Proverbs 16:13) Many of my supporters who did not support me still have a deep sense of distrust and are filled with resentment to the point of being reluctant to call me president. The reason is that it is an extension of the difficult judgment of the words and actions of the people, various crimes, and the actions of those who support North Korea and China, which have not stopped. Therefore, in the face of the series of trials we are facing this time, please grant me great grace so that I can empty myself of the position of trying to satisfy my personal honor and political ambitions, and become a president who is humbly ruled by the law, so that I will no longer disappoint the people. Also, as a leader leading a nation, may the Holy Spirit grant wisdom and discernment so that we may fear God and run the government according to justice and righteousness. Please make the churches and believers more aware and strive never to do anything that would undermine the liberal democratic system, which is the foundation of the Republic of Korea.
Father God!
The Democratic Party of Korea, which had previously stated that it had no intention of promoting the 'Comprehensive Anti-Discrimination Act' (hereinafter referred to as the Anti-Discrimination Act), is being criticized for indirectly proposing a bill with similar content to the Anti-Discrimination Act during the recent presidential election period. Earlier, on the 27th of last month, during the presidential election period, Democratic Party of Korea lawmakers Song Ki-heon and Lee Yong-sun visited the Christian Council of Korea and stated that there were "no (party-level) legislative plans" regarding the Anti-Discrimination Act, which has raised concerns among many citizens and Christian circles. The Democratic Party has publicly stated several times in the past that it will not rashly promote the Anti-Discrimination Act without a national consensus, but it is indirectly promoting it.
Father God, in the name of eliminating discrimination, there are brazen acts of suppressing the truth and not hesitating to stand against God. We place the reality of the Republic of Korea in your hands. Clearly, during the presidential election period, they declared that they would not hastily push for the anti-discrimination law without a national consensus. Still, since the Democratic Party of Korea won the presidential election and became the ruling party, it has been indirectly proposing similar bills and revealing its behavior of trying to deceive the people. Please punish them severely. “The Lord nullifies the plans of the nations; he nullifies the plans of the peoples. The plans of the Lord stand forever, the thoughts of his heart from generation to generation.” (Psalm 33:10-11) Please do not let their lies and embellishments cover the truth, and I pray that you will work to nullify their schemes to destroy God’s order of creation and their thoughts that seek to reject God’s plan. Please neutralize their illegal acts and all their attempts. Please let the Holy Spirit guide the hearts and minds of politicians so that healthy policies can be created to build a better future for the next generation. Please let them keep their promises to the people honestly and carry out fearless politics that do not neglect the promises made to the people. “Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin brings shame to any people” (Prov. 14:34). I look forward to God, who will never let His plan for the Republic of Korea fall apart. Please let this country be governed by justice and righteousness, and let it become a country that glorifies God. We believe and give thanks that You will surely establish this country as a missionary nation that will be used in these last days and a country with the secret of the new man. We look forward to the grace that God, who has the power of heaven and earth, will rule powerfully so that more believers who are reborn in the Holy Spirit will be added in these difficult times and more workers of the times who firmly hold on to their mission will arise, overflowing in the Republic of Korea.
In the name of Yeshua Messiah, I (we) prayed for South Korea. Amen. Praying for CWMI Father God! Pray for the CWMI-hosted seminar, “See the Big Picture of the Bible.”
