Prayer for the Restoration of Israel and Nations

Father God, we (I) pray for Israel.

Father God!

April 24th is Holocaust Memorial Day, a day to remember the victims of the Holocaust, a day to remember the 6 million Jews, including 1.5 million children, who were killed in the mass murder of Jews by Nazi Germany. At 10 a.m., a siren sounded, and at that moment, everyone and all vehicles stopped and observed a moment of silence.

Father God, in history, there were testimonies of Holocaust survivors in the presence of world leaders at a German concentration camp. Although anti-Semitism is spreading, I thank you for letting the world know the pain and sorrow of Israel’s history through these Holocaust memorials and testimonies. We pray that you comfort the elderly Holocaust survivors who are alive during these difficult times and heal the pain and wounds in their memories. We pray that the countries and people who are still committing anti-Semitism and distorting history today will now come to a correct understanding of Jewish history regarding the elderly Holocaust survivors and their descendants, after 80 years. In particular, Christians who believe in Yeshua, “Comfort, comfort my people, speak to the heart of Jerusalem, and cry to her, ‘Her labor is accomplished, her iniquity is forgiven, she has received from the hand of the LORD double for all her sins.’” (Isaiah 40:1, 2) Please let us obey God's command to comfort Israel and pray for and help Israel.

Father God!

April 30th is Ayyar 2 in the Jewish calendar, Israel’s Memorial Day, and May 1st (Iyar 3; May 14, 1948) is the 77th anniversary of Israel’s independence. You established Israel and gave them the Word, but Israel failed to obey the Word and worship God properly, so You scattered them among the nations and made them walk the path of suffering for a long time. But now, according to Your Word, You establish the country again. “Before Zion travailed, she gave birth; before her pains came, she brought forth her son. Who has heard of such things? Who has seen such things? Can a nation be brought forth in a day? Can a nation be born in a moment? Yet as soon as Zion travailed, she gave birth to her son.” (Isaiah 66:7, 8) We praise God for fulfilling this Word on May 14, 1948. “But you are holy, O Lord, enthroned in the praises of Israel” (Psalm 22:3). “But you, O Lord, endure forever; your remembrance endures through all generations. You will arise and have mercy on Zion; now is the time to be gracious to her, for the appointed time has come.” The God of Israel, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, is the holy Jehovah God, and we give thanks and praise to him as our Father. “For you, O house of Judah and house of Israel, have been a curse among the Gentiles, but now I will save you and you will be a blessing. Do not fear; let your hands be strong.” (Zec 8:13) Even though we are in the midst of war, we believe that the Lord God is saving Israel and making it a blessing through this war, and we pray and bless Israel. “I do not want you, brothers, to be ignorant of this mystery, in your ostension, that foolishness has occurred in part in Israel until the full number of the Gentiles has come in. And so all Israel will be saved. As it is written, ‘The Deliverer will come from Zion; He will turn away ungodliness from Jacob. This is my covenant with them when I take away their sins.’ As to the gospel, they are enemies for your sake; but as to election, they are beloved for the fathers’ sake.” (Rom 11:25-28) Thank you for fulfilling this word. As the firstborn nation that received God’s love through our ancestors, until the full number of salvation for the Gentiles of the nations is complete, we believe and give thanks that He is fulfilling His covenant with Israel when He turns away their ungodliness and takes away their sins, as He said. “Listen to me, my people; listen to me, my nation; for the law will go forth from me; I will establish my righteousness as a light for the nations.” (Isaiah 51:4) Please let Israel return to You, listen to Your words, and become a nation established by the light of Your righteousness. Also, please open Israel’s eyes to see Yeshua, the King of the Jews, who is comforting Israel through Christians who believe in Yeshua of the nations, and open their ears to hear the news of Yeshua, the Messiah, who will come as the King of Peace. Please work the Holy Spirit so that Israel can become an Israel that understands with their hearts. Baruch Haba Beshem Adonai!

Father God!

Father God, please help us to return all hostages quickly, remove Hamas from Gaza, and allow the Gazans to live a stable life as refugees. We pray that Hamas will release all 59 remaining hostages (24 alive, 35 dead) and enter into a ceasefire. Israel is proposing that Hamas release all the hostages and agree to a truce while destroying Hamas’ tunnels and weapons depots in Gaza through airstrikes, while negotiations for the release of the hostages with Hamas are not taking place. We also give thanks to the Gaza residents who are living as refugees due to the war, who are protesting against the evil Hamas and demanding that they leave Gaza, despite Hamas’ suppression and retaliation. Please work so that Hamas can no longer threaten the residents in Gaza and leave the land. Please give Israel the courage to rely entirely on God and trample on their enemies, and thank you for girding them with your power, and let them come before you with all their hearts. Please comfort and strengthen the families, friends, and relatives of the remaining hostages who are waiting for the release of the hostages, praying and praying every day with anxious hearts. Please hold the remaining hostages who are suffering in Hamas’ evil situation, give them the strength to endure to the end, and open the way for them to come out quickly. Comfort the parents of the young soldiers who sacrificed their lives to protect their country and their families, the families who lost their husbands and fathers, and the parents who lost their children, and let the many wounded soldiers heal quickly. “Thus says the Lord: The captives of the mighty will be taken, and the prey of the fearful will be rescued; for I will oppose those who oppose you, and I will save your children” (Isaiah 49:25) According to this word, please save the hostages, oppose Hamas, the enemy who started this evil, and completely save Israel. Please let Israel come completely before the Lord God and become a people who trust in the Lord God who heals and saves. We pray that God’s covenant words for Israel will be fulfilled.

Father God!

We praise the Lord who hears the prayers of the watchmen on the great and precious walls of God and works. Please give peace to Jerusalem. May the Lord God establish Jerusalem and praise it in the world. May the Jews who are scattered throughout the nations and all the tribes of Israel who must return to their homeland return to the promised land. Please work so that the law of return will be changed, and believing Jews will also be able to make Aliyah. Please give us the power of the Holy Spirit to fully fulfill the precious mission of serving and praying until the word of God is fulfilled, and may we live a life of faithful faith. Please protect our health.

The massive explosion at the Shahidrazai Port in Hormozgan Province in southeastern Iran on the 26th caused a chemical ignition in the shipping container area. On the 29th, Iranian state TV reported that the death toll had exceeded 70, with over 1,000 injured, and Iranian authorities denied any outside involvement, saying that the explosion was caused by negligence and failure to comply with safety measures.

Father God, please have mercy on the families who lost their loved ones and suffered significant injuries in the explosion at the Shaitrazai Port in Iran, and show them compassion and mercy. Iran is developing nuclear weapons and is threatening the United States and other nations by creating nuclear weapons, and in particular, it is opposing Israel, the firstborn nation of God. It is threatening to wipe Israel off the face of the earth. They support the Hezbollah terrorist group in Lebanon and the Hamas terrorist group in the Gaza Strip to attack Israel. They have been attacking Israel since October 7, 2023, and they are still supporting the Houthi rebels in Yemen to attack Israel. Please stop Iran’s nuclear development, thwart their evil plans to attack Israel, and rule over Iran’s evil actions that openly declare that they will wipe Israel off the face of the earth. “Do not be silent, O God; do not be silent, O God; do not be silent, do not be quiet! Your enemies murmur, and the heads of those who hate you are lifted. They have plotted against your people, they have taken counsel together against the one you have hidden, saying, ‘Come, let us destroy them from being a nation, and let the name of Israel be remembered no more.’” (Psalm 83:1-4) Father God, answer the psalmist's prayer and protect and defend Israel. They are also persecuting Christians in Iran and imprisoning and persecuting leaders of house churches. May God rule over Iran, which is doing evil things with wrong ideology, and let them realize that God is the only true God and the only savior.

On April 25, Germany's Evangelical Focus cited the Fowid research team's data, stating that last year, about 39 million people, or 47% of the German population, were religiously unaffiliated, exceeding the combined number of Roman Catholics (24%) and Protestants (21%). The paper also noted that in 2024, the Roman Catholic and Protestant churches each lost about 580,000 church members. In addition to religious affiliation, only about 5% of Germans attend church at least once a month, clearly reflecting the decline of the Christian system. This is mainly due to the secularization trend across Europe and the religious diversity through immigration.

Father God, through Fowid's research, we see a realignment of German religious identity. The church is pushed out of the world's sphere of influence due to the increase in the religiously unaffiliated rather than the increase in traditional Christian groups. In a generation where worldly comfort, worldly materialism, and the temptation of pleasure, love is cooling off, and lawlessness is rampant, please lead the children of God of faith to the path of righteousness so that they can stand on the path of truth to worship God and approach God. “I urge you, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by renewing your mind. Then you can test and approve God’s will—his good, pleasing, and perfect will.” (Romans 12:1-2) With these words, we pray for the Christians in Germany and the children of the Lord on this earth. Please give us faith to overcome the world as children of the Lord, looking to the Messiah Yeshua, who died on the cross for us, broke the power of death, and gave us victory. We pray that the Holy Spirit, who helps us in our weakness and intercedes for us, may be poured out upon the saints in Germany, so that they may become saints in Germany who obey the Word according to the guidance of the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of truth, and lead them to worship and serve God properly.

On April 22, the first meeting of the "Task Force to Eradicate Anti-Christian Bias" held by the second term of the Donald Trump administration in the United States was held. The task force, which was formed by President Trump's executive order on February 6, discussed cases of "persecution for Christian beliefs" and "anti-Christian policies" reported by each department. The progressive interfaith solidarity group "Interface Alliance" criticized the US government's directive to public officials to report cases of anti-Christian bias they witnessed while on duty, saying that this task force could help organizations evade anti-discrimination laws. They also criticized President Trump as a spokesperson for right-wing Christians. Attorney General Pam Bondi chaired the meeting, which was attended by high-ranking government officials, including FBI Director Cathy Patel, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, and Secretary of Health and Human Services Robert Kennedy Jr., who shared cases of anti-Christianism identified by each department and agency.

Father God, we thank you for the task force meeting that President Trump is holding to correct the wrong prejudices and policies regarding the proper religious life of Christians, centered on Biblical values ​​in various administrative policies. We thank you for revealing and correcting anti-Christian cases through the meeting, despite the criticism of anti-Christian groups. “Who then is the faithful and wise servant whom the master has put in charge of the people in his household to give them their food at the proper time?” (Matthew 24:45) Please bless the American administration that acknowledges God’s sovereignty and tries to act centered on the words of the Bible that the pioneers of faith have obeyed. Let the United States become a country that can fulfill its mission in this era. At this time, the leaders of the American churches said, “Finally, be strong in the Lord and the power of his might. Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. Our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of the darkness of this age, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore, put on the full armor of God, so that you may be able to stand your ground in the evil day, and after you have done everything, to stand.” (Ephesians 6:10-13) Please let us become faithful and wise servants filled with the Holy Spirit, who put on the full armor of God, preach the word of God correctly, and teach the saints. Please bless the American government so that the United States, which is fulfilling the mission of the era of the Lord’s return, may become a country that exerts a good influence of faith on the nations and reveals God's glory to the nations.

On April 23, the federal government issued an executive order declaring that it will no longer tolerate situations where the safety and well-being of students are threatened by school disciplinary policies that are actually discriminatory and illegal. This is called “equity.” From 2014 to 2018, the Departments of Education and Justice issued guidance stating that if students of a certain race are disciplined more than others, it can be considered discrimination in itself, and that schools should use disciplinary policies to statistically balance racial differences even when discipline is necessary. The Biden administration is again implementing disciplinary policies based on racial statistics. It is issuing an executive order on “equity” policies that promote a culture of preferential treatment for LGBTQ people and transgender people, and a culture of promoting abortion that innocently takes the lives of unborn children.

Father God, we thank you for the executive order that your government issued to ensure safety and order in public schools, which can help students be safe and achieve academically. The government did not tolerate the fact that the previous administration used a disciplinary policy that focused on balancing between races and statistics rather than individual mistakes in the name of “fairness” that favored sexual minorities, and that teachers and students are currently suffering from increased disorder and violence in the classroom. We are grateful that the policy is returning to the principle that discipline should be judged solely by the student’s behavior and by the teacher and school. More than any policy, the Word of God should renew young families in the United States. We pray that a change will occur in school education that restores the founding spirit of the United States, which worshipped God and educated children with the Word centered on the church. “These words that I command you today shall be in your heart; you shall teach them diligently to your children and talk of them when you sit in your house, walk by the way, lie down, and rise.” (Deuteronomy 6:6-7) We pray that our society will return to a life centered on God in the home and the church, just like this word. May the hearts of our children turn from all the impure thoughts and ideas of the world and be filled with the truth of God’s Word. May parents awaken for the spiritual revival of their children, and may parents be established who live as examples of faith and pray for this generation with tears.

Father God, I (we) pray for South Korea.

6.3 Ahead of the early presidential election, South Korea faces economic difficulties such as export slump, exchange rate, and tariff pressure due to the US-China hegemony war, and domestically, the collapse of the self-employed and the bankruptcy of small and medium-sized enterprises. Now, our society is at a crossroads of crisis. The economy is unstable, polarization is deepening, and political distrust is reaching its peak. The people's voices are growing louder that South Korea’s politics should not return to the past, but choose the right leader to move forward.

Father God, thank you for allowing us to pray and believe in your holy plan to love South Korea and use this land as a missionary nation. Now, our country is in a dark situation where law and justice are collapsing more than ever, and I place this country in your hands with a sorrowful heart. Judges who should uphold fairness follow the power; justice is collapsing, truth is being suppressed, evil is being called good, and good is called evil.“This is what you must do: Speak the truth to one another, and render true and upright judgment in your gates.” (Zechariah 8:16) Please make this country where the Lord’s command to speak the truth and render upright judgment is carried out. Once again, please help this country's leaders, judges, and administrators to fear and act according to God’s justice and truth. Ahead of the June 3 presidential election, the people want to pray only to God against the distrust in the National Election Commission, which has already been controlled by fraudulent elections, and the situation in which those who are deeply in collusion with pro-North Korea and pro-China forces are running for president and trying to deceive the people and hold the election. “His eyes are on the ways of man; He watches all his steps. There is no darkness or shadow of death where the evildoers can hide.” (Job 34:21-22)

Father God, we believe You are determining the path the Republic of Korea should take. We pray that God will personally intervene so that injustice will never prevail, cut off those who support anti-state systems, establish the Republic of Korea according to God’s will, and appoint a president who acknowledges and fears God. We pray that God will give the Republic of Korea the power to once again win all systemic wars and continue to fulfill God's mission as a free democratic nation. I believe and give thanks that He will establish the country as a nation that completely glorifies God and exalts Yeshua.

On April 29, the 1st WEA (World Evangelical Alliance) Countermeasure Forum was held at the Grace Hall of the Christian Council of Korea (Chairman Rev. Ko Kyung-hwan) with the theme of “Problems with the WEA from theological, practical, and historical perspectives.” “The original intention of the WEA was good, but it has changed and has become worse than the WCC (World Council of Churches),” he diagnosed. “After looking into the US office, I found that the WEA is a pro-Catholic, pro-Islam neo-evangelical movement, and the moment it is accepted, the Korean church will have problems again, so the general assembly should not be held in Korea until it is reformed according to its original founding purpose.” Some people want to hold the WEA general assembly (in Korea), but many pastors are not only against it but also say, “I hope the identity of the WEA is more clearly known.”

Heavenly Father, thank you for calling us in these last days amidst a world full of lies and confusion, and for granting us the grace to stand firm on the Word of truth and move forward. Please pour out the spirit of repentance so that we can sincerely repent for failing to fulfill the church's role, giving all the initiative to the world, and even protecting the truth. In this age, the spirit of unity and compromise obscures the true gospel, deceiving and teaching that there is another way besides Jesus Christ. Please have mercy on many Korean pastors who have joined the WCC and WEA and are active in their work, leading the congregation into false teachings and the vain confusion of the world, and failing to lead the congregation to the right path. First, we earnestly pray that you grant spiritual leaders the discernment to test everything with the Word of God and hold on to the truth. “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I will reject you from being a priest to me. Since you have forgotten the law of your God, I will also forget your children.” (Hosea 4:6) Please let the Holy Spirit work powerfully so that those with ears can hear the Holy Spirit's words. Please let us firmly believe and confess that only Jesus Christ is the way, the truth, and the life, and we must follow only the gospel that we have heard from the beginning. Please let us realize that the battle we are fighting now is not a battle of the flesh but a fierce spiritual war between truth and falsehood. Let us destroy all falsehood and strongholds with the powerful weapons that God has given us. Please let the churches and saints of this land be prepared as faithful brides who only please God. Please let us submit to all the schemes of Satan that try to keep the truth from being the truth before the powerful name of Yeshua, and let us arm ourselves with the Word and prayer every day and walk in the truth. May spiritual leaders no longer yield to human popularity or worldly values but only exalt and proclaim the Word of God. May they boldly preach the Word whether the time is favorable or unfavorable, become faithful servants who fight for the truth with their lives at stake, and be able to stand as spiritual soldiers who properly prepare for the last days and advance.
