Prayer for the Restoration of Israel and Nations

'I will be glad and rejoice in your love, for you saw my affliction and knew the anguish of my soul. You have not given me into the hands of the enemy but have set my feet in a spacious place. '

Father God, we (I) pray for Israel.

Father God!

# Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who is visiting the United States at the invitation of President Trump on April 7, said that he is working with the Trump administration to reach a hostage settlement for the suffering hostages. He also discussed the ongoing war in Gaza, the hostage issue, the Iranian threat, tariffs, etc., and President Trump added that the United States and Iran will begin direct talks on Tehran's nuclear program.

# In response to reports that Egypt offered Hamas a ceasefire to release about eight hostages and a "40-70 day" ceasefire, the Tikva Forum, which represents the families of the hostages, issued a statement. "We have no right to sign an agreement that does not include everyone," he said.

# US National Security Advisor Mike Walz said that the first airstrike on March 15 killed "the person responsible for launching their missiles" and that the US continued its airstrikes on Hodeidah, Marib, and the Houthi-run capital Sanaa in Yemen. Al Hadass said that the Houthis have killed Abdul Nasser al-Kamali, a senior intelligence leader.

Father God, Israel is not negotiating with Hamas in Gaza for a second ceasefire and the release of the hostages. While Egypt is negotiating, Israel is offering to strike Gaza and eliminate Hamas leaders, and agree to a truce that requires Hamas to release all hostages. The White House and Israel said that the attacks will continue until Hamas releases all 59 remaining hostages (24 alive, 35 dead) and until the Houthis in Yemen, who are attacking Israeli and American merchant ships, are eliminated from Yemen by attacking their leaders. We thank the people of Gaza, who are living as refugees through war, poverty, and hardship under Hamas rule, for taking to the streets to protest, saying the right thing about the evil Hamas, and demanding that they leave Gaza. “I will pursue my enemies; I will not turn back until they are destroyed. I will strike them so they cannot rise; they will fall under my feet. You have girded me with strength for the battle and subdued those who rise against me.” (Psalm 18:37-39) Please give Israel the courage to rely on God and trample on their enemies completely, and thank you for girding them with your strength, and let them come before you with all their hearts. Please comfort and strengthen the families, friends, and relatives of the remaining hostages who are anxiously praying and waiting for the release of the hostages day after day. We pray that the nations will see God with Israel, as you said, and come before you. Destroy the enemy Hamas, and capture the remaining hostages who are still suffering in Hamas’ tunnels and evil situations, and give them the strength to endure to the end, and open the way for them to come out quickly. Please grant the peace of the Lord to the land and people whom God has chosen first and promised. Please protect the Israeli people who have suffered physical and emotional hardships from the war, so that they may seek God’s peace, overcome the trauma of war in God’s comfort, and not suffer from suffering and depression.

Father God!

Israel begins the Passover Seder on the 14th day of Nisan (April 12th), the spiritual beginning of the new year. It celebrates the festival by eating unleavened bread from the 13th to the 19th (seven days). The 20th Sunday after this Passover is Easter, which we Christians celebrate as the resurrection of the Lord. 

God the Father, “And the Lord said to Abram, " Know for sure that your descendants will be strangers in a land that is not theirs and will serve them, and they will afflict them for four hundred years. Then I will punish the nation that they will serve. Afterward, they will come out with great possessions (Gen. 15:13-14). As He spoke to their ancestor Abraham, when Israel remembered the Lord God and cried out to Him in prayer during their suffering in Egypt, He heard them, called them out of Egypt, and led them to the promised land. Also, we thank you for calling Israel, who had failed to serve the Lord God properly in the land that God had given them, and for prophesying through the prophets, to this land to establish a nation and prepare for the second coming of the Messiah Yeshua. Satan knows that his time is short and is attacking Israel in every way to destroy them. Still, the war belongs to the Lord, and even in this age, “Until the Lord establishes Jerusalem and makes her a praise in the earth, let him not rest (Isaiah 62:7) “Pray for the peace of Jerusalem, for those who love Jerusalem will prosper” (Psalm 122:6) Thank you for allowing the saints of the nations to pray with this word. Above all, may the Jews who are cleaning their homes and removing leaven to celebrate Passover realize and know that Yeshua is the unleavened bread of life and that Yeshua the Messiah, who shed His blood on the cross as the Passover lamb and died, gave forgiveness of sins with the blood of the new covenant and was resurrected, is the unleavened bread of life. May the knowledge of Yeshua, the Lamb of God, who is the way of God’s salvation, the truth, and the life, be renewed, and may people become those who receive salvation through faith.

Father God!

We praise the Lord who hears the prayers of the watchmen on the great and precious walls of God and works. Please give peace to Jerusalem. May the Lord God establish Jerusalem and praise it in the world. May the Jews who are scattered throughout the nations and all the tribes of Israel who must return to their homeland return to the promised land. Please work so that the law of return will be changed, and believing Jews will also be able to make Aliyah. Please give us the power of the Holy Spirit to fully fulfill the precious mission of serving and praying until the word of God is fulfilled, and may we live a life of faithful faith. Please protect our health.

Father God, I (we) pray for the Nation.

Father God!

On April 7, US President Trump announced that Iran would be “at great risk” if ongoing direct talks between the US and Middle Eastern countries fail. Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi posted on X that Iran and the US were scheduled to meet in Oman on April 12 for indirect high-level talks. “This is both an opportunity and a test. The ball is in the US court.” Iran has resisted Trump’s call for direct negotiations or bombing over the nuclear program. Still, Iranian sources said Tehran could consider direct discussions if there is progress in the initial indirect talks.

Father God, amidst the global attention and concern over Iran’s nuclear program and its development of atomic weapons, US President Trump said, “Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon, and if the talks are not successful, I think it will be a terrible day for Iran.” Regarding this, please make Iran come to the table and stop all development of nuclear weapons, and prevent Iran from making nuclear weapons. Please make the evil plan of the Middle Eastern Arab countries to unite and attack Israel ultimately and intensely fail, and make the plans and activities of the evil forces, such as Hamas, Hezbollah, ISIS, the Islamic Brotherhood, Jihad, the Taliban, and the Houthi rebels in Yemen all fail. We pray that all the saints of the world will realize that the Bible records that their alliance and movement is ultimately an evil plan to attack Israel and wipe it from the face of the earth. We bless them and pray according to the Word of God, declaring and praying with the words of Psalm 83.

'O God, do not remain silent; do not turn a deaf ear, do not stand aloof, O God. See how your enemies growl, how your foes rear their heads. With cunning they conspire against your people; they plot against those you cherish. “Come,” they say, “let us destroy them as a nation, so that Israel’s name is remembered no more.” With one mind they plot together; they form an alliance against you— the tents of Edom and the Ishmaelites, of Moab and the Hagrites, Byblos, Ammon and Amalek, Philistia, with the people of Tyre. Even Assyria has joined them to reinforce Lot’s descendants. Do to them as you did to Midian, as you did to Sisera and Jabin at the river Kishon, who perished at Endor and became like dung on the ground. Make their nobles like Oreb and Zeeb, all their princes like Zebah and Zalmunna, who said, “Let us take possession of the pasturelands of God.” Make them like tumbleweed, my God, like chaff before the wind. As fire consumes the forest or a flame sets the mountains ablaze, so pursue them with your tempest and terrify them with your storm. Cover their faces with shame, Lord , so that they will seek your name. May they ever be ashamed and dismayed; may they perish in disgrace. Let them know that you, whose name is the Lord — that you alone are the Most High over all the earth.'

Father God!

On April 7, the Myanmar military announced that the number of deaths was 3,564, the number of injured was 5,012, the number of missing was 210, and the number of damaged buildings reached 5,000 due to the magnitude 7.7 earthquake on the 28th of last month. However, additional bodies are still emerging from collapsed buildings. Since last weekend, Rescue efforts have been complex due to rain in the affected areas. The sweltering heat, with temperatures exceeding 35 degrees Celsius during the day, has raised concerns about additional disasters, such as infectious diseases and landslides. The Myanmar military, which has been in power for four years after refusing to accept the results of the 2020 general election and arresting State Counselor Aung San Suu Kyi, is more concerned about protecting its power than dealing with the disaster, and is purging the opposition. In response, more than 100 ethnic minorities are responding to the military with guns and swords, and the civil war continues. According to the UN, there are 3.5 million refugees due to the civil war.

Father God, in Myanmar, many people are buried in the rubble of collapsed buildings due to the earthquake, and the number of deaths is estimated to be over 10,000 due to the problematic rescue efforts. However, Myanmar has already been in a civil war for five years, and the damage has not been adequately assessed, and there is no rescue equipment. Please have mercy on the people of Myanmar who have lost their families and all their property due to the earthquake and are suffering, and shine the light of salvation so that they can come to God, who rules and governs all things in this universe. We are grateful that the UN has designated Myanmar, home to 3.5 million refugees, as a disaster emergency country and has requested assistance from the international community. Rescue teams from various countries, including the United States, are also helping. “You have shown us great hardships, but you will revive us and bring us up again from the depths of the earth.” (Psalm 71:20) Please help the people of Myanmar. This Buddhist country worships idols, to realize that the One who created and governs all things in the universe is Jehovah God, and to seek God as their help and come before God. Please comfort and show mercy to those who have lost their families, lost their homes, and are in sorrow and hardship due to the earthquake. Please extend a helping hand so that the numerous injured can receive treatment. Through this earthquake disaster, please let all the people of the nations living in this era realize and know that God governs and rules over the climate, all things, and all phenomena, and let them come before the Lord. Through this disaster that cannot be done by human power, please let them come before God, the ruler and master of all things in the universe.

# Utah Governor Spencer Cox has signed HB77 into law, making Utah the first state in the nation to ban LGBT and rainbow pride flags from public schools and government buildings. The ban takes effect May 7 and is intended to promote “political neutrality” in classrooms and other government facilities across the state. We also appreciate that Idaho already has a law in place to ban inappropriate flags in classrooms.

# On March 20, Montana Governor Greg Gianforte signed two bills into law to protect women and girls' privacy, safety, and athletic opportunities. The first bill, HB 121, prohibits men from entering women-only areas, such as locker rooms, sleeping rooms, and restrooms. It requires public schools, correctional facilities, public buildings, and domestic violence shelters to protect women’s safety and privacy. The bill also protects women and girls, and the second bill, HB 300, strengthens protections for female athletes of all ages so they are not forced to share intimate spaces with men or compete on sports teams.

Father God, we thank you that Utah law excludes flags of gender identity, except for the Olympic and Paralympic flags, official college or university flags, tribal flags, and historical versions of flags that may be used for educational purposes. Bless Utah for its obedience to God’s created order, its opposition to the evil of homosexuality, and its obedience to God’s Word. We also thank you for highlighting that similar “pride” flag bans are being discussed in several states, including Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Florida, and North Carolina. “You shall follow the Lord your God, and fear him, and keep his commandments, and obey his voice, and serve him, and cling to him” (Deuteronomy 12:4). Lead the American states' leaders in your ways so they will fear God and follow His Word. Please lead the churches and intercessors to pray especially for America's leaders and to be filled with the Holy Spirit so they can continue praying in faith until the next generation is established in the education of the Word.

Father God!

In late February, the New Jersey Court of Appeals ruled that school districts can choose not to inform parents of their child’s gender identity decision. Several New Jersey school districts have won “victories for parental rights and common sense” over who can decide whether their children attend school: parents or state officials. In response to the argument that parents must know their child’s identity after years of state legislation, “Transgender Student Policy 5756,” which allowed transgender students to hide their changed identities from their parents, the appeals court ruled that the policy was optional.

Father God, we thank you for allowing school districts to repeal or modify the state’s transgender student policy at the request of many parents. In particular, the new administration in the United States, President Trump, has signed an executive order to halt medical interventions for transgender people under the age of 19, fulfilling his campaign promise to return to biblical policies. We are grateful that the Trump administration has begun to revise or repeal homosexual policies in many school districts at the request of many parents. “All who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will be persecuted. Evil men and impostors will go from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived. But you, continue in the things you have learned and have been assured of.” (2 Timothy 3:4-7) Please pour out the oil of the Holy Spirit so that parents’ tearful prayers will not cease, so that America can return to biblical policies and become a nation where morality is alive and common sense prevails. Please bless America so that it can return to biblical policies, win the spiritual war to become a godly nation, be a good influence on the spread of the gospel, be established again, and fulfill the will of the Lord, who wants to play a God-centered role in the nations. We pray that you will grant grace so that all leaders in every state in the United States will have the same will in God’s Word and enter the right path, and that the work of turning to the Word of God will continue to take place.

Father God, I (we) pray for South Korea.

Father God!

After President Yoon Seok-yeol declared martial law on December 3 last year and the impeachment motion was filed on December 14, 111 days later, the Constitutional Court unanimously upheld President Yoon's impeachment trial at 11:00 AM on April 4.

Father God, the impeachment trial of President Yoon Seok-yeol on the 4th was upheld unanimously by all the judges. Although President Yoon could not return to his position, he said, "It was a great honor to work for the Republic of Korea. Thank you for supporting and cheering me on despite my many shortcomings. I apologize for not being able to live up to your expectations." I will always pray for the Republic of Korea and its people." Thank you for letting us realize the state of our country during the 122 days since the declaration of martial law on December 3 last year, and for letting us know that what our country is going through is not simply a fight for selfish interests among domestic politicians, but a war over the system.

Father God, we pray that genuine repentance will take place in the churches of the Republic of Korea in this situation. We pray that each person of faith will repent and pray like Daniel did when he read the writings of Jeremiah, the prophet of God, and repented of his people's sins before the Lord. Just as Daniel did not pray by dividing sides and opposing each other, but rather by embracing and interceding for the sins of all his ancestors and people without judging them, and by accepting and confessing all of them as his sins, we too, one by one, become Daniel and pray at this hour. Holy Spirit of God, please lead us with enlightenment and humility to repent and pray for our country and people. “Far be it from me to sin against the Lord in ceasing to pray for you; for I will teach you the good and righteous way.” (1 Samuel 12:23) Just as Samuel prayed before the Lord and taught the people the good and righteous way of God, please fill all the servants of the Lord in the churches of the Republic of Korea with the Holy Spirit so that they may fully fulfill their prophetic mission of praying for the nation and the people and proclaiming and teaching the good word of God. Father God, we earnestly pray that you protect and intervene so that the Republic of Korea's liberal democracy and free market economy do not collapse. The people who shouted in favor of the president's impeachment, saying that martial law itself was a wrong decision in the democratic era, ultimately deeply realize and recognize that the current fight is a ‘super-limit war’ that transcends all limits and is an unlimited war in all areas, and I earnestly pray that you grant them the grace to understand the times. Please awaken those politicians who are still supported and controlled by China and who are trying to expand pro-China forces to turn back and stand in the position of loving and protecting the country. All the people of faith in the Republic of Korea should kneel before God and say, “If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” (2 Chronicles 7:14) Please let us be like the people who confess their sins, repent, and seek the face of God before these words. “Take courage! Let us fight bravely for our people and the cities of our God. The Lord will do what is good in His sight.” (2 Samuel 10:12) Now, please let our people have courage again and become people who approach the Lord with humble, faith-filled prayers of repentance to protect the country. We earnestly pray that God will establish our government to please Him. Please give new strength to believers again so that they kneel in prayer, move forward with a torn heart and repentance, and the church, Christian leaders, and believers wake up and have the strength to fight against evil spirits. Please let the Republic of Korea be established in the last days as a nation that gives full glory to God by fulfilling the mission of a missionary country.

With former President Yoon Seok-yeol impeached, the 21st president's election date has been set for Tuesday, June 3. Acting President and Prime Minister Han Deok-soo chaired the Cabinet meeting, and the agenda with these contents was passed. Regarding the decision to set the presidential election date for June 3, Acting President Han explained in his opening remarks at the Cabinet meeting that “we consulted with the National Election Commission and other related organizations, and took into consideration the smooth execution of legal affairs necessary for election management and the preparation period of each political party.”

Father God, with President Yoon's impeachment, the date for electing the 21st President has now been set for June 3. Above all, we are grateful that God is leading our country to become one that will fulfill His will in this era. We completely trust the Lord to elect the president who will rule the Republic of Korea after a short period of preparation. In the meantime, our country has not recognized the president's emergency powers, and we have seen the giant opposition party, which provided the cause for martial law, abuse its power, destroy the rule of law, and commit all sorts of evils. Ultimately, since the pros and cons of impeachment have been debated, national unity is now at a critical juncture. Please join us with your great power so that someone who unites the people, restores the collapsed legislative, judicial, and administrative departments, and guards against colluding with pro-Americanism and relying on pro-China and pro-North Korea to destroy liberal democracy can be elected president of the Republic of Korea. “God frustrates the schemes of the crafty, so that their hands fail. He catches the wise in their schemes, and the plans of the crafty are twisted.” (Job 5:12-13) “When the righteous prosper, there is great glory; when the wicked rise up, men are hidden.” (Prov. 28:12) As this verse says, we earnestly pray that God will deeply intervene in the presidential election of the Republic of Korea so that a person who fears God can become president. In particular, please free this election from the influence of the secret election fraud cartel, give us wisdom so that we can have thorough countermeasures against it, and make it an election filled with proper communication and respect, not fake news, slander, conflict, and hatred. Please completely cut off all hands of corruption and manipulation, and let every precious vote of the people be reflected correctly without distortion. Please grant all the people the proper discernment and wisdom, so that the person whom God pleases can be chosen. Please make this land a country where justice and peace flow like rivers, and make the Republic of Korea a country that advances into the world.

The 11th Israel Conference “See the Big Picture of the Bible” will be held from April 7th (Mon) to April 10th at the House of Word and Prayer in the UK, hosted by CWMI, for Western European pastors, missionaries, seminarians, and their wives. Please pray for Pastor In-Sik Kim and his wife, Woong-Ja Kim, who are working as lecturers.

# Please bless all executives and branch heads, including the president. What we ask of those in charge is loyalty, so let them obey for the glory of the Lord and let only the gospel be revealed. 

We pray for the Wednesday All Nations Prayer Meeting, held online every week. Thank you for blessing the Nations Prayer Meeting, which has been working diligently every week.
