Prayer for the Restoration of Israel and Nations

'But Israel will be saved by the Lord with an everlasting salvation; you will never be put to shame or disgrace, to ages everlasting. '

Father God, we (I) pray for Israel.

Father God!

Israel's 543rd day of war with Hamas is April 1st, the 3rd day of Nisan, the spiritual new year of Israel. April 12th is Nisan 14th, and they start the Passover Seder and observe the festival by eating unleavened bread from the 13th to the 19th (seven days). The 20th Sunday after this Passover is Easter, which we Christians celebrate as the resurrection of the Lord.

God the Father, “And the Lord said to Abram, " Know for sure that your descendants will be strangers in a land that is not theirs and will serve them, and they will afflict them for four hundred years. Then I will punish the nation that they will serve. Afterward, they will come out with great possessions (Gen. 15:13-14). As He spoke to their ancestor Abraham, when Israel remembered the Lord God and cried out to Him in their suffering in Egypt, He heard them, called them out of Egypt, and led them to the promised land. Also, He made a covenant with His ancestors for Israel, who had been scattered to the nations because they failed to serve the Lord God properly in the land He had given them. Thank You for calling them to this land, establishing a nation according to the words He prophesied through the prophets, and preparing for the second coming of the Messiah Yeshua. Satan knows that his time is short and is attacking Israel in every way he can to destroy them. However, the war belongs to the Lord, and even in this age, “The Lord has established Jerusalem as the greatest power in the world. “Give him no rest until he is praised. The Lord has sworn by his right hand and by the arm of his strength: ‘I will no longer give your grain as food for your enemies, and foreigners will not drink your wine for which you have labored. Instead, those who harvest it will eat it and praise the Lord, and those who gather it will drink it in the courts of my sanctuary.’” (Isaiah 62:7-9) We believe that God is working to fulfill this word and give thanks. Please quickly help the people of Israel realize and know the Messiah Yeshua, who shed his blood on the cross as the Passover Lamb and rose again. Please renew their knowledge of the Messiah Yeshua, the Lamb of God, who is the way, the truth, and the life of God, and help them become people who receive salvation through faith.

# April 1, Israel demanded the release of US-Israeli hostage Ethan Alexander, along with the release of 10 other living hostages, in the first phase of a new 40-day ceasefire negotiations, along with Hamas's demand to provide complete information on the remaining hostages. In addition to the release of both living and dead hostages, Israel's demands included the end of the war, the establishment of a safe zone in the Gaza Strip, the demilitarization of the area, and the expulsion of Hamas members. Hamas offered a deal that would release only general information on the 33 hostages and the release of only five hostages.

# On March 30, the Israel Defense Forces intercepted a ballistic missile launched from Yemen before it entered Israeli territory. At 10:41 a.m., the rockets fired in central Israel, Shupelah, Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, and Herzliya, causing rocket warnings and civilians to take shelter.

Father God, while Israel and Hamas in Gaza are not negotiating a second ceasefire and the release of hostages, Israel is bombing Gaza and eliminating Hamas leaders, suggesting that Hamas agree to a truce. We thank the people of Gaza, who have been living in poverty and suffering under Hamas and as refugees through war, who have come out into the streets to protest and speak out against the evil of Hamas and demand that they leave Gaza. Thank you, God, for protecting Israel by intercepting missiles from the Yemeni Houthi rebels who continue to fire rockets at Israel. The U.S. White House and Israel have stated that the war will continue until Hamas releases all 59 hostages (24 alive, 35 dead), and that the attacks against the Yemeni Houthi rebels who are attacking Israel will continue until they are eliminated. “I will pursue my enemies; I will not turn back until they are destroyed. I will strike them so they cannot rise; they will fall under my feet. You have girded me with strength for the battle and subdued those who rise against me.” (Psalm 18:37-39) Please give Israel the courage to rely on God and trample on their enemies completely, and thank you for girding them with your strength, and let them come before you with all their hearts. Please comfort and strengthen the families, friends, and relatives of the remaining hostages who are anxiously waiting day after day, praying and praying. As you said, I pray that the world's nations will see God who is with Israel and come before you. Please destroy the enemy Hamas, and hold the remaining hostages who are still suffering in Hamas’ tunnels and evil situations, and give them the strength to endure to the end, and open the way for them to come out quickly. May God grant peace to the land and people He chose first and promised. May the Israelites, who suffered physical and emotional hardships from the war, seek God’s peace and overcome the trauma of war through God’s comfort, and protect them from suffering from pain and depression.

Father God, I (we) pray for the Nation.

The 7.7 magnitude earthquake that struck Myanmar's second largest city, Mandalay, on March 28 killed more than 3,000 people, five days after the rescue operation. It was reported that 3,408 people were injured, but the US Geological Survey and the Catholic field investigation team predicted that the death toll from this earthquake would exceed 10,000. The earthquake struck a 33-story building under construction in the neighboring Thai capital, Bangkok. It was to be used as the Thai Board of Audit and Inspection building and was being built by China Railway No. 10, a construction and engineering company affiliated with the Chinese state-owned China Railway Corporation (CREC). It was revealed that substandard steel bars produced by Shinkeyuan Steel, a Chinese company with a factory in Rayong Province, Thailand, were used.

Father God, the death toll is estimated at more than 10,000 as countless people are buried in the rubble of collapsed buildings due to the earthquake in Myanmar, and rescue efforts are complex. However, Myanmar is currently in a difficult situation where the damage has not been adequately assessed, and there are no rescue facilities, as it has been in a civil war for 5 years already. Please have mercy on the people of Myanmar who have lost their families and all their property due to the earthquake and are suffering, and shine the light of salvation so that they can come to seek God, who rules and governs all things in this universe. The UN has designated Myanmar a disaster-emergency country and appealed to the international community to help with this ‘state of emergency’. We are grateful that rescue teams from many countries, including the United States, are helping. In addition to the earthquake in Myanmar, many people are suffering from forest fires in Korea, and there are also fires and people suffering in neighboring Japan. “You who have shown us many and severe troubles will revive us and bring us up again from the depths of the earth” (Psalm 71:20) Like the confession of the psalmist’s prayer, may the residents who are suffering and taking refuge seek God as their help and come before God as our help with hope. Please comfort and show mercy to those who have lost their homes and families to earthquakes, fires, and typhoons and are in sorrow and hardship. May all the people of the nations living in this era realize and know that God governs and rules over the climate, all things, and all phenomena, and may they come before the Lord. May they come before God, the ruler and master of all things in the universe, through disasters that human power cannot overcome.

On March 16, a Muslim woman, Hamiyat, in Butaleza, Uganda, learned that the Christian couple, Doreen Nairuba, had preached the gospel to her daughter and invited her to church on the 17th. Taking advantage of the tradition of sharing food with neighbors during Ramadan, she prepared poisoned food at 7 p.m. on the 16th and had her daughter deliver it to the Christian couple. The daughter, who did not know that the food was poisoned, shared the meal with the couple and returned home, but was immediately taken to the hospital with severe stomach pain and vomiting, and died. Later, the Nairuba couple also died while being taken to the hospital with similar symptoms, and her husband died the next day, on the 17th. The medical team that investigated the cause of death announced that a fatal poison was detected in the food, and Hamiyat was arrested and admitted to the poisoning during the interrogation. He reportedly stated, "I did not intend to kill my daughter, but my neighbor who took my daughter to church during Ramadan," and "I heard from the imam (Islamic leader) that if you kill an infidel, you will go to heaven (Firdaus)."

# In the eastern Ugandan Iganga region, two Christian evangelists, Ephraim Idube and Tefiiro Mwanani, were attacked and left in critical condition while preaching that "Jesus Christ is the only way to heaven, and the Islamic prophet Muhammad is merely a prophet." Enraged by their sermon, Muslims shouted and denounced them, physically assaulted them, and even brought sharp weapons from a butcher shop to injure them, causing deep wounds that were bleeding profusely. Residents came to their rescue and took them to the hospital, but their condition is critical.

Father God created heaven and earth, created man in God's image, blessed him, and governs human history. We offer you all that is happening on this earth and that we have received while spreading the gospel in Uganda. The Ugandan Constitution guarantees freedom of religion and recognizes the right to spread one’s faith and convert. Although the Muslim population in Uganda is less than 12% of the total, it is relatively high in the eastern region, and attacks on Christians are said to be intensifying. Please protect God’s children in Uganda and give them the new power of the Holy Spirit.

# Father God, please have mercy on Hamiyat, an ignorant woman who observed Ramadan, fasted, received traditional and wrong education, and killed Christians who spread the life of the actual truth, Yeshua, and even killed her daughter. We believe in this, and thank you for placing the Nairuba couple, who spread the gospel and were martyred, in the ranks of the Lord’s martyrs and giving them the Lord’s reward. Also, please save and heal the lives of the two brothers, Ephraim Idube and Tefiiro Mwanani, who were attacked while preaching the gospel and whose lives were in danger. Lord, who met Paul, who was amid this persecution and was on his way to Damascus to persecute and arrest Christians! Please show yourself to the Muslims who are still persecuting and attacking the people of God who preach the gospel, and call them and use them. Just as Paul was used as an apostle of God after meeting the Lord, please work the Holy Spirit so that Muslims can meet the Lord, be transformed, and rise as servants of God. Please give Muslims eyes to see Yeshua, the truth and life, and open their ears to hear the gospel. Please force the Holy Spirit of God to destroy all the spirits of darkness that are binding them with the love of Yeshua on the cross, who bore all the sins of the world and died, and with the precious blood of Jesus Christ. Please let the light of the gospel shine on the Islamic countries, “Yeshua said to her, ‘I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?’ (John 11:25, 26) We pray that this word will be fully proclaimed. Please let the younger generation in the Muslim world come into the light of life, and let the history of seeking and meeting Yeshua, the way, the truth, and the life, happen. Please let the Holy Spirit work so they realize that God the Creator controls history and come to God. Please let the light shine on the land of darkness. Please anoint the local church and the brothers and sisters of Muslim backgrounds with the Holy Spirit. Please hold them up as a strong Christian community that will not be ashamed of the Lord Jesus and the gospel, but will boldly believe and break down the spiritual stronghold filled with the spirit of Islam. Amid the dangerous reality of persecution and tribulation, the saints in Iran and Muslim countries are seeking the Messiah Yeshua. Please help and protect us, the Holy Spirit, to rely on God with faith, call upon Him as our refuge, and be victorious. Let the Lord be our safe refuge. Please protect the servants and saints of God who spread the gospel in Islamic countries that continue to oppress and persecute good Christians who worship and serve God, and bless the churches established in the name of the Lord.

On February 6, two Christian leaders in their 60s (Nasser Navard Gol-Tapeh and Joseph Shahbazian), who were imprisoned for five and one year respectively for leading a house church in Iran and were released on pardon, were arrested again. It has been reported that they were later re-imprisoned in the infamous Evin Prison. Pastor Nasser (63 years old), who was one of 30 Iranian intelligence agents arrested in June 2016, converted from Islam and became a pastor. He had been leading a house church since then. He was imprisoned on charges of attempting to undermine national security by establishing an ‘illegal house church network’ and was released in October 2022. His family is again on a hunger strike in prison, saying that his health is poor due to severe gum disease that worsened in his last prison, and that he may lose all his teeth. We have been asking for your prayers for my health and stamina. Pastor Joseph (60 years old) is an Armenian-Iranian and was sentenced to 10 years in prison in 2022 for “promoting Christian Zionism and violating national security.” In May 2023, after the Iranian Appeals Court found “sufficient grounds to impose the maximum sentence,” his sentence was reduced to two years. He was released from prison last year but was arrested again.

Father God, two pastors who received the life of the faithful Jesus in Iran have been arrested amid tribulation while serving as witnesses of the Lord and sharing the Word of the Father’s life, and have served their sentences and been arrested again and are now incarcerated. Pastor Nisser is fasting and fighting against injustice, although his health is not good. Please protect and preserve his health so that his teeth are not damaged anymore. When the Apostle Paul preached the gospel, he said, “But the Holy Spirit testifies to me in every city, “I do not consider my life of any value nor as precious to myself, if only I may finish my course and the ministry that I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God.” (Acts 20:23-24) Apostle Paul, who boldly headed to Jerusalem even though he knew he would be bound, was unafraid of hardship. Just as he boldly went forward to fulfill his mission, please give Pastor Nasser and Pastor Joseph boldness so they can overcome the hardships in prison and watch over them while they are in jail. Please release them quickly so that they can fulfill their mission of preaching and teaching the gospel of life. Please protect the home church members while the pastor is in prison and watch over them so they can live victorious lives of faith in the Word of God with the Holy Spirit’s strength and boldness. Give them peace and comfort. May the light of Yeshua's life shine more brightly on the land of Iran, and may the Holy Spirit work so that more and more people are saved in the light of the Lord every day.

Father God, I (we) pray for the US.

On January 28, President Donald Trump declared gender reassignment procedures for minors to be “chemical and surgical mutilations” and ordered a halt to federal funding for hospitals that perform them. However, 37 hospitals receiving federal funding are providing puberty suppressants, cross-sex hormone therapy, and in some cases, even surgical procedures to patients under the age of 18. Some states, including the Children’s Hospital of Colorado, Washington, Oregon, Minnesota, and Colorado, continue taking legal action against Trump’s executive order. On February 28, a federal judge in Seattle issued an injunction temporarily halting the order. The University of Michigan Medical Center, which received $482.8 million in support from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) in fiscal year 2023 and is ranked 11th in federally funded research institutions, said it provides hormone therapy to patients under 18.

Father God, the President’s executive order states, “The United States will not support or fund the practice of transitioning children from one sex to another, and will strictly enforce laws prohibiting it.” However, many hospitals and doctors are guilty of performing surgical procedures on minors, as well as puberty suppressants and hormone therapy. The University of Minnesota offered a female mastectomy (top surgery) to a 14-year-old patient, and the Mount Sinai Center for Transgender Medicine and Surgery in New York City reportedly performs surgeries on minors at the physician’s discretion, with no fixed age criteria. "Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? And you are not your own. For you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body." (1 Corinthians 6:19-20) Please let the hospitals and doctors who do such evil deeds, not knowing that the Lord has made our bodies a temple and that the Holy Spirit dwells in us, realize that disobeying the President's order is a sin that violates the law of God's creation. We pray that they repent and turn back. Please let us become humble doctors who fear God, the Lord of life, and keep the order of creation.

Father God!

Planned Parenthood, a New York abortion agency, said it will sell its Manhattan building named after abortion pioneer Margaret Sanger due to budget constraints and focus on its three remaining locations in the Bronx, Brooklyn, and Queens. Before leaving office, former President Biden awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom to Cecil Richards, former president of Planned Parenthood, who has performed millions of abortions over the past several decades.

Father God, we thank You for stopping the evil that takes the lives of countless innocent unborn children and for turning to biblical policies as President Trump signs an executive order to “stop using federal taxpayer funds to support or promote elective abortion.” We thank you for the closure of four abortion centers in New York in recent months and the downsizing of Planned Parenthood. But other states continue this evil enterprise. “Very truly I tell you, everyone who sins is a slave to sin. And a slave does not remain in the house forever, but a son remains forever.” (John 8:34-35) Please let us not become slaves to sin, as this verse says, but be reborn as perfect sons of God. We pray that this crime of abortion will stop and that the abortion organization will ultimately fall. We pray that churches and intercessors will wake up and pray more so that America can return to biblical policies and become a godly and good influence on spreading the gospel to the nations. Please bless America so that it can be established correctly again and fulfill the Lord's will that America play a God-centered role in the nations. Please grant grace so that all leaders in every state in America can have the same will in God’s Word and enter the right path. Also, work to continue the work of turning back to the Word of the Bible.

Father God, I (we) pray for South Korea.

The Constitutional Court announced on the 1st through a notice to the plaintiff, defendant, and the press that President Yoon's impeachment trial will be held on April 4th at 11:00 AM at the Constitutional Court in Jongno-gu, Seoul. The Constitutional Court has concluded 38 days after concluding its arguments on February 25th and 111 days after receiving the impeachment motion on December 14th of last year. As President Yoon Seok-yeol's impeachment trial was set for the 4th, 13 schools near the Constitutional Court in Jongno-gu, Seoul, and the Presidential Residence in Yongsan-gu have decided to temporarily close due to the expectation of large-scale protests nearby. According to the Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education, on the 1st, 11 schools near the Constitutional Court will be closed on the 4th.

Six schools, including Jaedong Elementary School, Jaedong Elementary School Kindergarten, Unhyeon Elementary School, Unhyeon Kindergarten, Gyodong Elementary School, and Seoul Kyungwoon School, located about 200 meters from the Constitutional Court, are scheduled to close on the 2nd, two days before the ruling.

Father God, in the midst of the emergency situation of suspending the president’s duties and the country's confusion due to the continuous use of words like ‘rope impeachment’ and ‘double impeachment,’ thank you for allowing the Constitutional Court to announce that it will hold an impeachment trial on April 4th. Meanwhile, the considerable opposition party, anxious that the impeachment trial of the president might not end as they wished, has been trying to turn the country into anarchy and threatening the country and its people. The Constitutional Court has concluded and is proceeding with it. Please discipline the politicians who have been blinded by their ambitions for power rather than thinking of the people and have not hesitated to destroy the rule of law, and eradicate the anti-state forces that are trying to overthrow a democratic country. “The works of man are before the eyes of the Lord; He watches all his ways. The wicked are caught in their iniquities, and the snare of their sins. They die without instruction, and in their foolishness they wander.” (Prov. 5:21-23) Please stop the evil deeds God, who knows all the works of man, is committing, so that they will no longer cause the nation and its people to fall into chaos. In these times, please grant the church and its leaders a perfect spiritual perception so they can realize the path for the nation and have the proper discernment and judgment in the Word to lead the saints to the path of righteousness. “The wicked do not understand justice, but those who seek the Lord understand all things.” (Prov. 28:5) Please pour out the oil of the Holy Spirit so that we can become those who earnestly seek God, awaken from the foolishness of not understanding justice, and open our eyes and ears to discern the times. On April 4, we earnestly pray that the God of justice will intervene in the Constitutional Court’s decision regarding President Yoon Seok-yeol, and that the God of order will work so that extreme divisions will not occur may be difficult for those who opposed or supported the President’s citation to accept the Constitutional Court’s decision. Please prevent the country from falling into great chaos again because of this, protect us from extreme situations, and guide our country on the best path. Please grant us the blessing of quickly regaining political stability and allowing the Republic of Korea to become an anti-communist, liberal democratic nation, a free market economy nation, and, above all, a powerful nation of faith that evangelizes to the nations in these last days, so that we can fulfill our mission as a missionary nation worthy of God. Please guide us quickly to become a liberal, democratic, and unified nation under the Lord’s guidance.

Father God!

China has reportedly begun a strategy to turn the West Sea Provisional Measures Zone (PMZ) between South Korea and China into an internal sea. The PMZ is an intermediate sea area where maritime boundaries are reserved and overlap within the exclusive economic zones of both countries. They have begun installing two sizable offshore steel structures without permission, claiming they are aquaculture facilities. This is said to be a grave matter that threatens South Korea. They will quickly install the offshore steel structures and increase the number to 12, creating an artificial island. Since Xi Jinping came to power in 2012, China has focused on strengthening its naval power to block the US from advancing into the Western Pacific. It is said that China's attempt at an internal sea strategy through the West Sea Project is a critical security issue related to our maritime territory that is life-or-death, and we must quickly establish and implement a marine security response strategy.

Father God, we have heard that China is illegally installing large offshore steel structures in the interim measure zone between Korea and China in the West Sea, taking advantage of the political turmoil in Korea. Thank you for allowing me to learn about this fact and respond to it. As our oceanographic research vessel, Onnuri, began investigating the large steel structures, China is interfering with them more threateningly, raising concerns about potential diplomatic conflict between the two countries. There is a high possibility that they will be disguised as forward bases for fisheries or underwater resource development facilities, used to monitor and collect information on Korean and American ships and aircraft, install anti-aircraft and anti-ship missiles, and be used in the event of an emergency in Taiwan. Please protect and guard our seas so that they are not taken away. Even though our country is in such a dangerous situation, please expose the actions of politicians who are already working in secret, joining hands with pro-China forces, stealing national and corporate secrets, and committing treasonous acts. “He will not fear bad news, because his heart is firm in the Lord. He will not be shaken, and he will not be afraid. In the end, his enemies will be as he hopes.” (Psalm 112:7-8)

Father God, no matter how much terrible news comes and makes us afraid, we want to rely only on You. Please let each church wake up, pray more, and pray more to You without wavering in their hearts. “It is good for me that I have been afflicted, that I may learn Your statutes. The law of Your mouth is better to me than thousands of gold and silver.” (Psalm 119:71-72) In all the situations our country is facing, please let the churches be reborn through the Word, and let us receive the blessing of the grace of restoring faith like pure gold as a nation. Please let us be used as a nation that preaches Yeshua more wholly and powerfully, and fulfill Your will as a nation that carries out the mission of the One New Man to the end.
